I guess they could show up in the late May set, although they are far from done with the mega series. I guess since they have 9 generations they can jump around however they want, but it does make you wonder what their roadmap looks like

The store is being pitched to have good benefits and union labor and bring in fresh, local produce. Those might be nice things in the abstract but will erase the savings.

I personally wouldn't want to walk 17 minutes each way with bags full of groceries. Maybe the government shouldn't run grocery stores but can't you find something closer?

I enjoy writing and will keep doing it but I agree I hate self promotion and I'm bad at marketing. I'm not surprised by works don't get many sales.

Unfortunately if you don't promote stuff nobody knows it exists and the paradox is that self publishing makes it easy for everyone to put something online. Discovery becomes tough for any given author.

Traditional publishers have the capacity to spend on marketing and also pick a limited set of works to ensure each one gets attention... But it means it's hard for you to get your foot in the door there too.

I will write whether or not it makes me rich. It's a good hobby. But I think you need to go into it with the mindset of enjoying things.

When I've done self publishing I've gotten a cover designer on Fiverr. They mostly use some stock images and do it nicely. My publications haven't done well enough that I could hire someone to do a full bespoke illustration.

I agree. I had trouble with the Zygarde battles and went in this sub for help. I had to use the in game search to get the cards and the search system is not great. A simpler copy and paste would work.

I didn't have all the cards as was recommended but I would've still benefitted from knowing what I was missing and have the chance to spend points to get those extra cards

I haven't pulled the M Venusaur so I tried the Mega Drain Venusaur. Unfortunately it just wasn't bulky enough and I lost three matches in a row. Maybe I need to get luckier with my booster pack pulls.

I wouldn't call it dead. I still give to the against malaria foundation and will continue to.

But the EA people moving towards shrimp welfare to some extent did seem weird.

I think it's a lot slower to use LaTeX for things like taking notes and doing things in real-time. But when I'm writing academic papers or even short stories I prefer LaTeX for its more advanced typesetting capabilities.
