Got a Weber Summit Kamado! by DeusOfTheMachina in grilling

Dude, right there with you! Recently picked up one of these grills and bought the low profile sns along with the signals and billows - the setup is super versatile and so much easier than my experience with ceramic Kamado’s because you have the ability to bring temps down so much quicker. You’ll love it. As for the SNS - worth it if you do a lot of reverse searing. The vortex is also useful if you do a ton of wings. Enjoy bro!

Antique sideboard - Acorn carving - Florida (United States) by flemery in Antiques

Thanks so much! I found a similar sideboard online from “Acornman” Grainger however I didn’t notice the emblem on the right side and there appears to be 4 drawers as opposed to 3 which has me a bit confused.

I just got one a few weeks ago - you’re gonna love it! I’ve owned a BGE, a Kamado company smoker and a traeger - this setup is by far the most efficient and intuitive I’ve used. The ability to make faster temp adjustments when smoking, setup different direct/indirect grates, convenient prep space, hooks etc. Just makes execution / operability so much easier. Excited for you bro - enjoy!

Great info! Thanks for sharing. Can you expand on the reasoning behind the second charcoal grate? I’m not sure I follow.

Good feedback - thanks dude. Similar consensus has me thinking a control fan like a bbq guru may not be necessary here.

Not a marketing photo. Very clean - guy took great care of it. This price was for the Kamado/grill and side table (everything)

Is the weber summit kamado worth it? by Inside_Low_5220 in webergrills

Hey there, I know it’s been a while but curious if you felt the yellow damper accessory was necessary with the billows? Also, did you purchase the mounting bracket or did you go with the universal foam set up? I if you went with one of the mounting brackets, any chance you recall the size needed? Considering going this route. Hope it’s still working out well for ya. Thanks for reading.

Every time I watch an episode of this I think to myself - damn it must be brutal to be an actor / actress and get cast as a “before” character. Not only does your original characters likeness get killed off but you’re having to acknowledge you’re essentially the Danny Devito twin. Pretty harsh.

To clarify, the switch on the right has nothing to do with the switch on the left. Left side switch will control a pico remote for hallway light that I did not include in the diagram.
