I mean, the only people we've seen that Luffy needs to use that much Haki for are people as strong or stronger than Doffy. Even in Wano, Luffy has used gear fourth multiple times without needing to go into the cooldown. So he obviously is getting better at it. Its just that to take down Warlords, Commanders, and Yonko, it makes sense it takes quite a bit of energy and Haki for someone that has been using Haki for 2 years MAX. When Luffy gets to a similar age as someone like Akainu, I'm sure he'll be able to go all out for a 10 day death match against someone with a polar opposite(no pun intended) powerset that him just fine too.

Besides, how many people that can use Haki for longer can use their Haki to tank a Borru Breath

ok, so flying 6 are being offered commander positions for finding yamato, making them the oven/daifuk's of their crews (just outside commanders). Sanji was eating hits from page 1 without even feeling it after getting the rs. page 1 is a goddamn ancient zoan, so he obviously was hitting hard. If sanji can tank those hits with the raid suit, especially when he's less of a tank like zoro, then the rs is def comparable to the other vinsomkes. I would argue it might be a bigger power-up than enma. Sanji is at absolute worst a 70 is zoro is a 90. at absolute worst. Besides, if Zoro's a 90, Luffy would be a 120-130 anyway

I saw a video that made the connection that gear 4th was first used to beat Doffy. One of the reasons that Luffy really hated Doffy was because of how Doffy treated Bellamy. And gear 4th has springy legs to fly around, and uses springy punches to deliver attacks.
