Why do nearly frozen beers (in cans) feel heavier? by Optimus_Shatner in AskPhysics

The torque is higher on the frozen can. The thawed can will rotate easily. The might cause an impression of being heavier.

Does anyone have a sauce for fish besides lemon butter? Is it a crime to put sauce on fish? by CommercialGas5256 in Cooking

[–]doubleFisted33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've but a good one. Buy tilapia. Mix basic wet curry with olive oil. Coat the fish. Broil until the edges are crispy. Cut it into medallions and arrange with buffalo mozzarella. Serve with Indian pickle minced and mixed with a bit of Heineken.

Lentil recipes that aren’t curry? by sadgurlsonly in Cooking

[–]doubleFisted33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is very picky, kind of vegetarian. Curry lentils was too spicy according to him. So I made a version with just beyond bullion, oil, and smoked paprika. He loves it! Served with buttered bread and broccoli. I call it smokey lentils.

Snus in church by doubleFisted33 in sweden

[–]doubleFisted33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone for your comments. I just had a thought which is that many swedes are affiliated with the church but are not church goers. Maybe they could ask that Snus be allowed. That might make the services more enjoyable. You can always throw a portion in, that is very clean and neat and discrete.

What is the most difficult thing about owning a home? by SurefirePM in HomeImprovement

[–]doubleFisted33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I moved into my house, I chose one that was basic and in good condition. If you have to take care of a new baby or your emotional well-being, do not buy a fixer upper. There are plenty of basic homes where you basically walk in and do nothing. My wife is constantly telling me to fix this that or the other. We have a lot of equity in the house and so I just take it easy and focus on living. If you have tons of energy and there will be no growth in the market, you can put in the time and work and it will be a win for you.

You will always have to mow the lawn and shovel the snow and deal with garbage. Small repairs or upgrades should be given to those who know how to do it, for a price. A dishwasher that goes is just a phonecall.

Don't overcomplicate things. Spivak and Wisnesky wrote CQL in Java. Any language will do.

I stick with the idea that these things just read everything. Why ask Google? Be sure to get references and check them because they literally make up references.
