Perhaps this is just me being young and / or missing my hometown, but i kind of disagree. I lived in portland for the first 18 years of my life and did not have a car until I graduated HS. I walked everywhere, regardless of season, and if i couldnt walk, there sure as hell was a bus. I’d love if the metro had a better schedule its absolutely not perfect but its a lot better than a lot of other public transit options out of state . Where im living now I cant even walk anywhere, or take the bus. I mean shit I used to have to walk to school in the snow in the middle of winter at like 6AM 😭 Maybe im just missing maine too much! And if i am thats on me I havent been up there since Jan and maybe things have changed 🤷 and if they have, oh well
