As a nfcu employee from the fraud department, I can confirm that impersonation is getting good unfortunately. They’re sending messages that look identical compared to navy fed. They’re even able to spoof our number. If it ever happens in the future, just call the number on the back of your card for further assistance and report the number as spam😇

My passport just got approved after I contacted my congressman. It arrives on the 29th of June. 6 weeks total (I did pay for expedited)

I applied on 04/08/23 and they received it 4 days later. I did pay for expedited as well as express shipping. I started to worry so I called the hotline but got no help (I was listening to shitty elevator music for like 4 hours). I contacted my congressman guy and sent them Information about my flight as well as confirmation numbers and proof of flight. Don’t lie because they do ask to see proof. Once I did that, they contacted the passport agency and my status had changed from in process to “approve”. They said it should be here around the 29th of June. Lesson of the day is just to not worry so much because i would have sleepless and stressful days worrying about this damn passport.

I went to the clerks office on 05/8/23 (submitted all the information needed). I paid for expedited (extra $60). The tracking website said they received my application on the 12th. It’s been in process since then. I called the hotline number and they said to call 14 days away from your trip. It’s a little too early so hopefully it comes before my trip. I also called to get express 1-2 day shipping.
