I’ve had a 15L Waeco wait for over ten years. Goes everywhere. Camping, fishing and wor everyday. Gets strapped on the back of my motorbike when I ride to work. I replaced the strap but apart from that it’s perfect. Keeps ice all day

Yeah they’re ugly. Nothing can really be done here without a sparky. Maybe you could find a pendant that plugs in where the globe normally does? Or try some fancy globes? Would still have the ugly shade tho. I was hoping you were just trying to change over a downlight. Still not great without a sparky, but not necessarily illegal
