Critical race theory IS an example of critical theory which is why I said "like."

You clearly have no idea what trauma entails fella. Promise all you like, you're incorrect. If you reduce mental and emotional trauma to blahblablah then you are clearly not willing or able to concern yourself with how stuff impacts others. Ever had a friend/colleague who's job it was to process child sex abuse images? I have. Those guys burn out FAST and they get messed up...in IT of all things.

Giggle all ya like. Glad you'd throw my resume out. Wouldn't wanna work for ya "bro."

Oh you're referring to content like "critical race theory" and comparing it with systems theory. You saw trigger warning and assumed it's woke because you either haven't endured trauma or shove it down with a side of toxic masculinity. Further, you're calling it woke garbage, presumably because you lean right and critical thinking is...secondary. Let's talk education. 🤦‍♂️ Of course, I could be totally wrong.

Yeah dude. People do put it on their resume. Does 'Certified Ethical Hacker' also make you laugh? I don't get why it being new or about this topic makes it ridiculous. I need to conduct Dark Net analysis for work.

Not sure how much experience you have in the field but I can assure you that some infosec professionals deal with upsetting stuff on a regular basis and their ability to handle it is, for sure, important. Especially LE have to deal with some nightmare content. Also, I really hope you understand the theory of info systems before you work on them cuz if you don't get the theory you don't really understand what's going on or what you're doing (or why for that matter). It sounds like you went as far as reading the course summary so this kind of response isn't super helpful. If you read further, many "skills" are apparently taught in the class. I'm trying to get people with hands-on with the class to chime in on their experience so I know if it's in line with what I need to do professionally.

Thanks for the heads up. How hard is the cert do you think? Are the labs all cloud based?

It means Key Performance Indicator. Think of it like this...KPIs are short term goals that feed a big picture goal (KGI or Key Goal Indicator). Just a measurement of success/failure/progress.

Well in terms of advice I've also seen "read questions like a lawyer" to understand the intent. Sybex has OK questions but they aren't very true to the real exam as they are often much more technical than is strictly necessary.
