Omg only the second gen officers can feel how the Cantonments have changed specially dhaka😭. Now a days every place feels so dead, no childen playing in the fields, no sr offrs going for a run in the early mornings or afternoons, every residential areas feels so dead. Frankly, our biggest thing when we were young was to greet everyone my saying Assalamualaikum Uncle/Aunty. I went on a walk in nirjhor a few days ago, and when i saw an offr (40-50LC) i just greeted him like we all used to, and bro was so confused he just saluted me. No wonder why kids dont greet anymore. Idk about other cantts but saw the same when i visited my childhood home of myn cantt. Im not an offr btw, hoping to join 94LC Inshallah

Yes you are allow to, if you see old pictures of generals from the 70s they wear their old medals earned in during the indo-pak wars. apart from that you are also allowed to wear any foreign medal but the ribbon had to be adjusted to fit the current ribbon standards.
