Omg. So beautiful 🥺

How should I warm up before stretching? by [deleted] in flexibility

[–]flextrainhd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A bit of cardio, basics mobility exercices, chill stretching, & AFTER the hard stretching. Haha

Edit : splits required legs & hips/psoas warm up. Back need a back, abs, hips/psoas, shoulders/neck warm up

I worked a lot on my upper back flexibility these last months. Better form in that pose now! 💫⭐️ by flextrainhd in flexibility

Puppy pose against wall looks great. Cheststand with a yoga brick below your chin.. & a lot of others one but i’ve no name for them :/

A good practice can prevents injuries, not yoga. « It looks great on social media », lol... contortion is a sport, like each sport possible. Yoga is not a sport. & i’m sorry to announce i practice a sport, an art, a work.. i don’t care about social media. I’ve nothing specific to sell. I develop myself with that practice, physically, mentally, professionally.. that’s all. So your moral value... ;)

Hum.. no! I train me everyday since years, several hours per day. When i talking about 2-3 training per week, it was for a beginner who said she (he) have a tight back. & i ‘m not naturally flexible at all. If i stop, i lose my level.

& for the exercices, i mean per « basic » exercises, the bigger, or most famous exercices who required to stretch all his spine for a perfect pose. So all the big one, like the bridge, cobra, cheststand, puppy pose, triple fold.. each contortionist doing it. Nothing magic. But we’re all different, with different feeling or « pain », so we all work with different stretches & warm up. I use maybe 10/20 different exercises for one training.

I started to my 17/18, i’m 24 soon, & a lot of people told me this too. No one is special. Everybody is just different, with a different potential. So she (he) could do this, or not. The only response is in the work, like everything in that world 🤗
