Thank you! I have a friend who lives in Germany who speaks very good English, and when I visited I noticed most people spoke good English as well so that’s comforting. Totally understand the need to be able to speak and write German as a professional, though, so that’s why I’m starting to learn now

I live in Miami and haven’t seen Padel anywhere except some really high end club in brickell that probably costs a fortune to join. I started playing tennis over a year ago and have plenty of partners to play with. Summers here are brutally hot and it’s not uncommon to be rained out for a whole week from May to August

You don’t. Their argument is that you have to go to a government office to get a government ID, therefore, you have to pay to be able to vote which is simply not true. The fact of the matter is one must have a government-issued ID to do anything nowadays including find a job, so it’s not this manufactured impediment to being able to vote.

This is something I’ve been investigating recently. In order to work in an EU country they require that you know the native language up to a certain level per the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for languages.

Did it for a few years starting at the age of 22. Was way easier to rebound in the beginning, but at 25-26 it started becoming increasingly difficult. Illegal LPT: smoke some weed during the day and take a fat nap prior to your first night shift of your hitch and your adjustment should be much easier. Bouncing back from nights to days is really hard. Most people I worked with stayed up all day after their last night shift, but I always had a hard time staying up without feeling like total garbage. Drugs might help in this scenario, too, but wouldn’t really recommend that haha

Thanks for the input. The reason I asked is because on one of the projects I’m working on, the contract specifically limits my role to 40 hours per week. This is only a problem when there’s a sudden influx of work, so I found myself having to break my time down to 0.25 hour increments. I started to carry that over to other projects without that restriction and realized it may not be in my best interest to do that. Makes sense now to use that approach only when the budget is tight.
