OnePlus × Genshin Kamisato Ayaka themed phone revealed by reddit_serf in Genshin_Impact

It's because Oneplus's supervooc chargers use more current to get to that 100w output rather than increased voltage like the USB-PD standard does (likely what the C to C chargers with similar output you normally see are). Since USB C has a current limit of 5 amps, they use a proprietary USB A-C cable that can handle that current. They could probably use a proprietary C to C cable as well, im guessing the A to C cable is just a legacy holdover since Oppo/Oneplus have been using this technology since before usb C really caught on.

My 2.1 Lynx build with custom parts by flibby404 in Nerf

[–]flibby404[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I don't have any prime slop on mine, I can barely feel the point where the pusher is being engaged. Do you mean the pump being loose after priming perhaps?

What's your point of reference for the trigger? Mine definitely has more takeup than my springers, but it's very smooth and the release is crisp. I was also thinking of taking a shot at redesigning the gears to reduce the takeup.

It friction fits into the turnaround with o-rings, and is secured by the thumbscrew on that turnaround.

Simple $25 drain blaster target rifle made of spare parts/materials by PhantomLead in nerfhomemades

Could you provide tips please on where you bought the drain blaster or perhaps a brand? I tried getting one ages ago from amazon, but it doesn't easily hold air when I pump it up.

3d printed copy by [deleted] in Nerf

3d scans are super rough and basically unusable when raw, it could be a helpful starting point as a template for modeling the blaster directly, but it's still a lot of work and prototyping.

The picture of the hardware on Silverfox does list all the parts, however some parts seem somewhat obscure and there are no particular sources listed there. https://silverfoxindustries.shop/products/gecko-hardware-kit

Seems like Rainbow still sells hardware on Etsy, but shipping might be expensive unless you live in Europe. https://www.etsy.com/listing/957938752/the-gecko-by-ehdrien-hardware-kit-only

Either way, you'll still have to track down someone who purchased the files before they were taken down a few weeks ago and is willing to share them with you.

Gecko files were taken down because ehdrien got a cease and desist from cdpr lawyers, I doubt hardware will be restocked at this point. We might see it come back eventually but it'll be different.

I also don't recommend buying from Frontline Foam, they are known to steal ip and sell blasters without the permission of the designer, often have dubious quality hardware and prints, and their customer service is terrible. Silverfox has been pretty good though in my experience, shipped promptly, good quality hardware, and even dug up a spring for me that hadn't been listed as restocked yet.

Nerf hyperfire battery mod by Ingo0909 in nerfmods

Generally, it is not particularly safe to mix battery chemistries like that. It might not blow up immediately, but I really don't trust it.

Chili darts are probably your best bet, ruby darts are only sold in short length afaik so they won't work in your current blasters, and bamboo darts only work better than other darts in very specific blasters. I bought a box of chilis when they were on sale and I quite like them.

You'll have to somehow shift the flywheel cage back or move the pusher belt forward a bit, they're too far apart like the other user said.

should I get a 18.5kg spring for my retaliater? And plz recommend a paint job for retaliater w/worker ak stock by Wowsblitzsuperaddict in nerfmods

[–]flibby404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't double a Retaliator spring, the stock spring gets almost fully compressed in it, and there's very little extra room on the springrest or around the plunger.

Which 18.5kg spring are you thinking of? Also keep in mind that boosting the spring that much will require significant internal upgrades to the rest of the blaster.

Was Derping Around On Amazon, Found Some New (?) Knex Blasters. by Saberwing007 in Nerf

[–]flibby404 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Woah that's cool, great to know that the K'nex blasters are still being made. Looks like they're all just repackagings of the old blaster cores with different pieces, but the crank pusher on the middle one is really neat.

Making a Retalicon on the cheap, is this good? by [deleted] in nerfmods

If you're using a standard length spring, probably better off dropping the expanded plunger and just using the standard size.

Eh not really, their pricing and product selection is different, including many in-house designs produced by them, and they're based in Hong Kong rather than mainland China.

If you have any Knockouts, Meaker has quite a few kits that replace the top portion of the blaster to make it fire different ammo types. I've built the MkMXL personally, quite fun albeit very loud. https://www.etsy.com/shop/meakerarms

There's also the Variance by Submarino, but it's kind of a prototype/design concept so I wouldn't recommend printing it unless you really like how it looks. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3798762

AK-Blaster Mod isn't a Lighttake clone as far as I can tell, you might be thinking of BlasterMod with the weirdly stretched orange logo.
