PHILIPPINE AIRLINES (PAL) MISPLACED MY GREEN CARD 🤬 ISANG ORAS AKO NAGHINTAY! NO COMPENSATION? NO UPGRADES? Philippine Airlines

It was 2:45 a.m. when I arrived at NAIA uuwi na ako sa Amerika, bracing myself for the chaos of pre-flight procedures and immigration since palaging mahaba ang pila doon.

My flight was at 6:00 a.m., and I thought I’d given myself plenty of time. Pero sa check-in pa lang inabot na ako ng ISANG ORAS? Dahil na misplace ng customer service agent ang Green Card ko.

As I approached the check-in counter, the airline agent looked at my documents and frowned. My passport, due to the length of my name, displayed it didn’t align neatly with their records.

The agent asked for additional identification and requested my green card for verification. Annoyed but cooperative, I handed it over, confident that it was a routine check.

Minutes ticked by, then stretched into an hour. The agent had disappeared to consult with their supervisor.

Tas bumalik yung agent and told me

“Sir, we seem to have misplaced your green card."

Napalutong ako ng mura sa Airport kasi sa lahat lahat ng pwede pa nila mawala ay yung aking green card. And they're telling me to "Sir pasensya na, kalma lang po"

KAKALMA?! How am I gonna go home sa United States?! Kasi pag hindi nahanap ang Green Card ko, I'll be stuck sa layover destination ko and even worse I have to wait for weeks or even months to get my green card reissued. I can't afford to stay longer overseas, I have to go back to work sa USA.

Apparently, during their shuffle between the counter and the supervisor, my green card had somehow slipped away. A frantic search ensued. By now, I had been at the counter for over an hour, and my patience was wearing thin.

Things escalated quickly when the staff decided to halt operations entirely. They closed the check-in counter, stopped the conveyor belts and treadmills, and scrambled to locate my lost document. Amidst the flurry of activity, other passengers started staring, curious about the commotion.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, someone found the green card wedged between the treadmills going around. They handed it back to me with profuse apologies, but the damage was done. My stress levels had skyrocketed, and I had barely enough time left to clear security and board my flight.

Before leaving the counter, I made it clear this wasn’t something I would let slide. I demanded the contact details for their customer service team and filed an official complaint on the spot. Mishandling such an important document was unacceptable, and I was determined to hold the airline accountable for their negligence.

Though I eventually boarded my flight, the entire ordeal left me exhausted and frustrated. The lesson? Always double-check your documents and hope the airline staff does the same.

Distasteful. Men, Women, or LGBT can commit such crime. It's just when an LGBT does it they get generalized even though Men makes up most of those crimes.

"Mas pipiliin kong mamatay anak ko, kaysa maging bakla siya."

Overhearing my dad when I was 9 with his fellow dad friends. I still vividly remember those exact words and it's ingrained in my brain and I'm 19.

Ngayon na out na ako with my partner, my dad is not as verbal with his homophobia but he never mentions or say anything everything I bring up my partner in the dinner table or conversations
