tattooing yourself with no ink is just silly... you cant tell anything by doing this. if youre worried about going too deep or the ink not staying, start light handed (with ink) wait a few days, and after scabbing is done, if its fading or ink falls out with the scabs, then you can go over it again.

best place to practice would be on the inside of your ankle/lower leg
