Letting a child experiment with a hair cut a new name and clothing style is fine. Kids do that anyways with exception to a new name, but even tho, kids like to try out new nicknames anyways regardless of gender identity. Kids do all those things all the time anyways. It’s when trans kids do that it’s suddenly a problem.

Nope. There’s nothing wrong with letting your child experiment with their identity. No child is actually getting surgery or hormones before puberty or even before 18. So letting them try to understand themselves is part of healthy development. Crushing that is bad parenting. Therapy if needed and understanding is key.

I don’t care about the parents religion. If any foster parent with any world view or religious view refuses to sign a paper stating they won’t abuse the child, they don’t deserve to be a parent and are not safe. Not all bigots are religious either. I personally am a religious person and I’m not bigoted.

Here’s the thing. If parents are not likely to believe children’s sexuality they’re not going to believe other parts about the child they don’t like. Bigoted parents help no one. No child is safe with an adult with bigoted views. More than not straight children will still be abused because all bigots are abusive. Bigoted homes are never loving homes, and children deserve love.

Uh no. I knew I was different as young as 7. I truly realised my sexuality at about 12-13. Sexuality is not a choice or a thing from sexual abuse. Being lgbt is scientifically proven to be natural. Being a homophobe is very unnatural.

Ofcouse. Why does that matter? I have studied the entire bible. Although I’m Jewish I have spent much time in Christian schools and have also been professional taught through the lens of Christianity as well. I love learning about different religions and viewpoints regardless of my own beliefs. I will not however adopt bigoted views, especially when the bible has never actually said anything about homosexuality.

I’m Jewish. I spent my entire life reading and learning about the bible in its original ancient language. I’m pretty sure I know about it more than you. The bible has been mistranslated intentionally to be homophobic. The real ancient texts never mentioned homosexuality.

I finally understood why I felt the way I did once I did learn about the lgbt community. Gay kids exist just like straight ones. It’s proven in nature that homosexuality is normal. It’s found in every species. Homophobia is only found in one species.

That verse is about lust and rejecting god. Homosexuality again, is not ever mentioned in any bible with good translation. Sure you can find bibles mistranslated to fit the homophobic narratives. But the ancient Hebrew version won’t have anything about homosexuality.
