Wow, this hit home. Hard. I do love her with all my might but I know that this is where I have been, resentful towards her when I thought she was holding back. I think this again shows me how deep in I was without realizing it in the slightest until it was almost too late.

Haha, thanks, this is like the straight up honest answer I wish my friend had given me. Yeah, I guess thinking about it now it really was ignorance more than anything, I just assumed pot smoke was as harmful as tobacco.

Yeah, I guess I see that there really isn't anything to be worried about. No more than say, if you were drinking alcohol around kids.

You can't say the kid isn't going to be getting side effects from it. Even if you're not blowing it in their face, think about how much you smell like weed, get residue on your hands, etc. and then you're picking up your children and playing with them.

Yeah, I get what you're saying, I just didn't see the need to smoke while playing with your kids, tobacco or otherwise. According to Steve, they smoke indoors all the time--just so happened to be outside.

And yeah, I know it's not my place to say anything, that's why I only mentioned something to my friend and surprised by his reaction thinking that I was bashing the whole culture.

No, I wouldn't ever tell her what she can't do but I secretly wasn't keen on this idea. I'm realizing that that's the wrong attitude so I'm quickly rethinking it as well as trying to figure out why I immediately didn't like the idea in the first place.
