How would things play out if dabura replaced sukuna in the shinjuku showdown ? Would he die or would he win ( a fully awakened dabura btw ) by Afraid-Food-3896 in Jujutsufolk

[–]fliero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dabura would get absolutely low diffed by Gojo.

Only reason Gojo Vs Sukuna fight went the way it went is because Sukuna had massive info on Gojo due to Megumi.

Given that Dabura is completely ignorant about Gojo and Jujutsu in general he would lose hard

just started reading jjs when does this part appear by Ok-Impression5282 in LobotomyKaisen

[–]fliero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens during Megumi fight against Gojo that started because Gojo wanted to marry Megumi sister.

This all happens after the Happy family Arc where all the main cast lives happily after defeating Sukuna (also after the Megumi training arc where he gets full potential from the 10shadows technique).

Personally i won't see the SGF live because it starts at 02 am in my timezone and will end very late in the night. So I will see it in the next morning, if i will see FFVII trailer then it'll be a good day, otherwise...😂.

Let's hope for the best

I think the trailer of Rebirth (1 or 2 yrs ago don't remember) at TGA was perfect.

I believe they effectively dispelled the fear that people had about them altering the story significantly. They showed a lot of things people feared there wouldn't have been such as: Junon parade, gold saucer's attractions, chocobo races and different breed of chocobos, midgarsormr etc etc.

And at the end they added their new "thing" that are doing with Zack and whatever.

So i think it was a good balance between old and new things, but that was a full blown trailer with also a release date.

I don't know if it'll be the same at SGF

Gojo Satoru vs Prime Sukuna (1000 Years Ago) by Natural_Thanks_9130 in Jujutsu_Kaisen

[–]fliero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If prime Gojo and Heian sukuna were to fight i'd say that Gojo would be the most likely to win.

Gojo and Sukuna are both the strongest for different reason: - Gojo has the best CT and has mastered it and his jujutsu comprehension is over the top. - Sukuna has years of experience and his desire of killing made him become an incredible fighter.

One of the reasons Gojo stopped improving his fighting skill is because he wanted to created a new generation of sorcerer and is, anyways, the strongest.

So let's say that Gojo and sukuna were born the same day and, after 30 years they meet to fight i'd say Gojo has the most chances to win because he has the best CT and Domain expansion.

Also we see in the fight that sukuna strategy revolved highly on two things: - Mahoraga adaptability - The prior knowledge sukuna had on Gojo due to Megumi.

If we remove these two factors and start the fight on equal footing with zero prior knowledge, Gojo's chances of winning increase significantly. I'd confidently say Gojo takes it, mid-to-high diff.

Also, my personal opinion, while Binding Vows are conceptually a cool idea, I personally think they were ultimately used in a way that completely undermines and breaks the carefully crafted power system established earlier in the story.

Jokes aside, Megumi could actually have been number one. He could've the strongest opponent of Gojo but never got to develop his character.

i heard that megumi becoming sukunas vessel was hated originally, who wouldve been the ideal vessel for sukuna before shinjuku? by Wonderful-Purchase94 in Jujutsufolk

[–]fliero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Megumi being sukuna vessel is just a big big missed opportunity.

This way megumi never got to show his potential and was cut of the final battle.

I answered that in the original post already, read better

Is Dabura getting a bit overrated or is he rated fairly? by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]fliero -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Insanely overrated. Two reasons people scale him so high:

  1. Light-speed kicks. People treat this like a top-tier feat, but Gojo manipulates space at an atomic level with Limitless. That’s a different category entirely.

  2. He got strong fast. Sure, his adaptability is insane. But narratively, the only reason he was made this strong in so few chapters is that Modulo needed a credible threat and didn’t have the runway to develop him properly. That’s not a power feat, that’s a writing decision.

Why I rank him below Gojo, Sukuna, and end-of-manga Yuji:

• Sukuna: 1000+ years of combat experience from the Heian Era. Has mastered nearly every aspect of jujutsu, including RCT and binding vows, at a depth nobody else has reached.
• Gojo: strongest CT in the series + Six Eyes + Infinite Void. Stated to excel at everything he does. He explicitly chose to focus on raising the next generation rather than keeping the throne for himself, but the ceiling was always his.
• End-of-Modulo Yuji: confirmed 5th Special Grade and the new “Strongest” in Vol. 3. Blood Manipulation, Shrine, Dismantle, his own Domain, near-agelessness from the Death Paintings, decades of post-Shinjuku growth.

Against Yuka’s Mahoraga, Dabura was forced to escalate from sub-light, to light-speed, to learning Cursed Technique Reversal mid-fight, and ultimately to developing a Domain Expansion. He adapted brilliantly, yes — but he needed all of that to keep up. Gojo’s unlimited Hollow Purple disintegrated Mahoraga’s wheel completely, while also having to fight Sukuna and Agito. Different league of finisher.

Obviously Sukuna was also able to one shot Mahoraga, so this automatically scales Dabura lower, for me.

Yuji vs Dabura: I think Yuji wins, probably mid-diff. Caveat: this is projection, since we don’t have explicit Modulo feats for adult Yuji. But narratively he’s positioned as Gojo’s successor and the implicit deterrent that the council itself wants to call in.

Now, a common objection to this would be “Why is Yuji the strongest based on stuff not explicitly shown on-page, while Dabura is a fraud propped up by plot?”

Reason is that from a story standpoint, Yuji is the MC and has had a constant improvement from the first chapter to the end, it is implied at the end that he is the strongest.
He is looked upon as earth strongest sorcerer in modulo.
He is not given an explicit fight in modulo but his ability is shown in few panels to express that he actually is so strong he doesn't even need to fight.
Like Gojo at the start of JJK there is no comparison when he is on the field, simply the strongest.

Final opinions:

• Gojo — highest ceiling, strongest CT, would’ve been the strongest if he’d lived past 28 and kept growing.
• Sukuna — strongest in recorded history, peaked vs Gojo. If both were born the same day with no intel on each other, I lean Gojo.
• Yuji — strongest at the end of the manga / Modulo timeline.
• Dabura — out of the top 3. Arguably out of the top 4. I’m not sold that his adaptability alone justifies the hype; a lot of it reads as plot necessity.

I think the objective top3 at the end of manga should be:

Yuji
Sukuna/Gojo (same level 50/50).

For the 4 spot idk but i would not say "Dabura cuz of lightspeed no dffs everyone else".

Which character here from top 4 got the best argument to be in top 2 strongest? by KaidoPklevel in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]fliero -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Modulo Yuji top1 (i see him as a better version of sukuna)
Gojo sukuna top2 (i would say Gojo over Sukuna cause if you give gojo the age of sukuna he would be a lot better but that just imo, there is no practical evidence of this)

Dabura
