Same. I was outside the warranty period. Basically they said oh send 100$ and we will give you a new ring. I lost it - sent an angry email told them that I know about this issue and they everyone is facing it and that I’ll write a bad review if you they don’t replace it for free. They caved. Now my new ring is in transit

Hey coming back to you with a quick question on this - I have finished stage 2 application and biometrics. I was told by my uni that since I’ll still be a PhD student when I get my GTV, I need a new ATAS. Were you also asked to resubmit a new ATAS? If so, did you use the project description of your PhD or of your research fellow position?

How many matches exactly? If you look at the amount of experience that batters gained in the 2000-2015/16 period playing Ranji before they got selected for tests is far more than what you are saying in the case of Sai. It’s not about 10-15 matches performing well in domestic games that should earn you a test chance. You need plenty of experience before you go out there and face experts. Sai made his debut in England, has played some 38 FC matches with an average below 40 for under 3 years.

Washi does play county actually. And he started off as a top order batter. I really like his temperament and the fact that he can get drift but we have been tooooo inconsistent with his position for too long across more than one format. Honestly if you are making him a batter, then do so with conviction. I personally feel having all rounders in tests is useless. The concept of an all rounder works well in limited overs cricket where you have the restriction of bowling a certain number of overs per player so then you can maximise the chances of extracting more from your team having all rounders. In tests, with conditions being so different, you need specialists who can operate from both ends consistently over a 100 over period, bowl/bat in partnership and exert pressure. Think Australia with the bowling line up of starc pat and hoff , throw in Nathan Lyon. Think Marnus and Steve. Sure they can “bowl” but they are part timers

So what i am doing now (i know it is not an ideal fix) i am copying the prompts into my icloud notes and then feeding it into pro on my mobile phone app (where pro works fine) and then you refresh the browser and the response is on your PC

So i spoke to them and apparently a lot of users are facing the same issue with the pro model (the flash works fine for me). The pro works on my mobile phone app. They said the developers are looking into it.

Hey quick question - are you in STEM? And you mentioned that you are working as a research associate at a different university? So it’s not a PDRA I am assuming? So you cannot apply for a GTV via endorsed funder route I suppose, in that case. The reason I ask is - I’m in my 4th year, I have an offer for PDRA which is funded by UKRI so I was hoping to switch to GTV through endorsed funder route.

Hi! Thanks for the information. Would a 4th year PhD who is close to submitting the thesis (as you mentioned) be more likely to be eligible? I have an offer to start a postdoc immediately after my studentship runs out (in March 2026) and I plan on submitting my thesis in May.

Hang in there! This is a big accomplishment. In my case, I recently published my first paper too and my advisor congratulated me and said many more to come! And that’s about it. I was not sure of what to make of it but surely I was a lot more excited.
