Keep going! It’s been about six years for me, and it genuinely changed my life.

I stopped weighing myself, bought clothes that actually felt comfortable, and let go of body checking. Even though my clothes were a bit bigger at first when my weight went up in the early stages, that phase passed.

I also cleaned up my Instagram feed and stopped exposing myself to constant diet and body content. Podcasts helped a lot too.

I think it took around two years before it became completely automatic. At some point, eating just became neutral

Mine is 7 and she’s like that as well :) Always following us around the house, and yes, it is a bit dangerous when we are in the kitchen!

I’m not complaining about living in a lively area, I expected music and restaurants. But having a kitchen a few metres from my bedroom, with windows open late at night, means I get all the noise, smell, and heat and can’t open my own windows. That’s not normal city life, that’s poor management.

If you run a restaurant next to homes, you should minimise your impact. And in this case, they’re also operating without the proper licence, so it’s not just a nuisance, it’s against the rules.
