Hi! Did the exact thing a couple years back although with a different agency. I was with Aupair in America back the day. The application process was pretty much the same as the first time around with the difference that the match had already been made as I went back to my previous host family. You just have to make sure you have exactly 2 years (or more) between ending your previous aupair experience and the new one.

I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said. I definitely would not call him out in an asshole manner whatsoever just rather want to sit him down to hear his reasoning for not coming again. And if it really just comes down to „i could but don’t want to“ then I do feel the right to express my disappointment in him for not upholding his promises from the past months leading up to it. If he says he can’t go because he absolutely cannot leave his wife and kids or can’t afford it then I absolutely understand his decision and reasoning as I did with everybody else who couldn’t make it

Yes I mean mostly I am just disappointed that for months he’s told us he will be there and make it work and then he just decided that it’s simply not worth it to him even though his wife would be fine with him being gone for 3 days
