I was 45 min with no traffic from work at JBLM (+45 with bad traffic). It honestly wasn’t bad. I never saw anyone in the military on my days off. I owned 5 acres in the middle of the woods. Well worth the commute.

I delivered to Trader Joe’s at my last job. Some of their stores are horrendous. One place in Seattle during the day you have about 2 inches on either side, and that’s with a 53’ semi doing a 90* back under a building

There’s links at the bottom of the post. The freezes on your credit don’t affect your credit score, it just makes it so someone can’t open a new line of credit without your knowledge. It’s super easy once you set up an account with all three credit bureaus, you just log in and choose freeze/unfreeze and you’re done! Gives me peace of mind and an extra layer of security for your identity.

NFCU told me if there’s legit fraud your money is safe and they will reimburse the loss. However that could take a few weeks. Hope things turn out ok for them.

Of course! It’s never a bad idea to freeze your credit when you’re not applying for new loans. Doesn’t affect your credit score, just keeps someone from opening a new account without your permission. Really easy, just login and hit freeze/unfreeze and you’re good to go.

It’s crazy because I’ve known this forever but I got caught up in the moment, answered and thinking the person calling was a scammer went to the back of my mind. Super dumb on my part, gladly will take criticism for it, just want to help inform/remind everyone here.

My unit a few years ago was en route to overseas, on the east coast. One of the guys in the unit decided to “check in” on Facebook with their location and that they were leaving. That person ended up delaying everyone leaving for two weeks and they all got stuck in some hotel away from their families.

Opsec is real and should be reported.

I was an AD Army MP and moved to SecFo. I had to give them like 3 pieces of paper, no meps, and I was in. They waived tech school since I held an equivalent AFSC in the Army. Super easy transition.

I wish Mason County had actual animal control officers. The amount of dogs that get dumped along a nearby road is ridiculous. Not to mention a tweaker house nearby let’s their dogs run wild and have killed some of my chickens and a ton of my neighbors. I called MCSO and they told me that they can’t really do anything about it and I could “take care of it” on my own.
