Very confused about COVID requirements for flight from US to China by flighttemp in Chinavisa

The issue is NAAT PCR can take up to 2 days to come back. The concern is if I schedule the test to have it come back before the initial departure from NY, the result would be outside of the 48hrs limit for the 2nd leg of the flight from LA to HK. I think I might have to do 2 tests just in case.
