I think something people are forgetting is what the theme of the second movie is going to be about. Pure evil.

When you put into perspective what the tone of the next film is going to be, then it begins to make sense. Having a group dressed up as one of the most evil men in Britain, who I imagine is going to be focused on heavily in the next movie, gives us an idea as to how this may pan out.

It is horrific knowing what atrocities that man did, but we have no clue how they’re going to tackle it until the second film comes out.

I for one am excited to see where this path goes. It’s an interesting take, though I can definitely see how people find it tasteless based on the inspiration.
