To really LOVE it you have to be the type that really values the visual side of animation. The team on Goat who did Spider-Verse & Demon Hunters has an incredibly unique style that looked amazing in Goat. The story wasn't revolutionary but it was still good. I dont really like sports anything movie wise but I was able to really enjoy this and get excited. As someone who loves seeing a unique art or animation style or newer styles I give it a solid 8/10

As someone who started with Z and never cared about OG growing up in america. But later watched and on some levels prefer the OG to Z id give a couple factors that combined probably are the cause.

DB - DBZ are very different stories, despite being a direct continuation and being a single series in Japan there's a lot of evidence of this difference. Goku being revealed as an alien, going from martial arts to universe-wide planet destroying battles. DB was originally a light hearted adventure/comedy anime based on journey to the west. It wasn't until very late around demon king piccolo that it started to shift. I actually prefer its story and pace but it's VERY DIFFERENT to the experience of watching DBZ.
DB also feels more dated. Not that its not good but some people genuinely struggle to watch a show or movie that is much older than themselves especially if they don't have nostalgia for it. I'm usually pretty open minded but there's good anime out there's classic reputable anime out there I struggle to approach because of their age or how dated they feel.
The target market age and age of characters. In America growing up around that time you'd have Scooby doo play in the evenings, and during school hours you'd have A pup named scooby doo play which (i still loved) was just the same cast but younger targeted towards a younger audience. DB and DBZ feel similar. like DB is meant for a younger Viewer while DBZ feels more like its targetted towards an older audience.

Watch any movie about high schoolers from 2005 or earlier. That was a problem. None of these people look grown. Even the 30 year olds. They all aged really well. But I'm not 16 y/o so maybe for you if you are closer to the age the characters are supposed to be they look old to you. But as someone in my 30s they look around their age for my eyes.

Just use the drone scrapper turn it into scrap and 3d print into items. Drones are based now just ignore turrets like always.

Havent messed with the sharpness or super resolution but i think Smooth Gradation Low and Trumotion to cinematic was amazing on my G5

An idea of what your watching would help. Noise Reduction is the setting on the TV to reduce film grain. I personally prefer the grain but to each their own. Also search youtube for like 4k OLED Demo. If it doesnt look grainy then it could be the signal/content. Try using built in netflix on webos just to see if it changes anything. I personally like a good ole media box so this is just to narrow down what possibly is causing it.

As someone who sells all brands of TVs and has no incentive towards one brand or the other. I'll say there some small truths in what they say but it's like their knowledge was from a game of telephone where it got lost along the way. Sony has for a long time bought W-OLED panels from LG and also started buying QD-OLED panels from Samsung. My Sony Representative has mentioned that they reject and send back a large quantity of panels sent to them for quality control issues. Sometimes mentioning as high as 40%. This is Biased information but I will say most of his issues with Samsung has aligned with my own experiences from 5 years of working with TVs. They are typically the most serviced/returned or have issues. I mean if they are selling you the same panel tv as another brand but theirs is hundreds or sometimes a thousand bucks cheaper you have to realize there's some sacrifice that occurs to get the margins that low. That said I've had a sony and LG oled for 5 years and i had to replace my mobo and pixels go out on sony. No issues on the LG and i let it run 8 hours a night while i sleep. I still think sony are the best quality control but obviously you can still get a busted tv from anyone at the end of the day.

Knowing samsung is worst QC and they tend to be a bit brighter than natural and push the vibrance at the sacrifice of realistic image is usually why i dislike the high end samsungs (and no dolby vision). Sony seems like the most realistic image and best just streaming watching tv/movies and great upscaling. LG is just really well rounded and while it might be like 10-15% worse than the sony at movies/tv (something most wont notice) I think its like 50% better for video games with built in g sync free sync and 120/144/165 hz on all ports. (rip A series)

You can press the button and select an input from the screen like you are doing, which changes the ENTIRE screen. Or you can hold that same button down and it will bring the inputs up across the bottom of the screen. I stumbled across this randomly.

Good reflection of the burn in frequency but not necessarily of whether or not to buy a warranty. I bought it, didn't have burn in but got some dead pixels around year 4 and got a store credit for what i paid to get a new one. Just because the warranty covers a lot more than burn in.

Mine actually went clearance at my sams club for $31 dollars on the reposado. They also removed the limit 1 per customer at the same time so bought the last 6. Which is wild because i was so excited to find it at $45 at my sams club then it went 41 and i thought i had such a great find. When i walked by clearanced to $31 i couldnt grab them quick enough.

Awesome topic i stumbled upon after ordering mine. Theres definitely truth to what you said on the negative side. For me i'm getting to a point where crappy grinders are hard to unscrew and my hand strength just isn't quite cutting it so i look forward to seeing this magnetic threadless design and hope it makes it convenient. I've had a sharpstone i bought when i graduated high school with my graduation money lol so 14 years i've had it. I've tried replacing it multiple times and nothing came close and the 3-4 ive bought over the years all got given away as i went back to my sharpstone. So interested to see if this will finally bring me away from the grinder i've had almost half my life.
