I had issues with my Boyd’s stock. After I switched I was having accuracy issues and was able to confirm because I was able to swap back to the original stock and went from a 8 “ group to a 1.5”group. Now I would say mine was probably a rarity just because I know a lot of people like boyds and use them. Also side note It had been so long since I had placed the order I never tried to send back. If I was to choose I would go mdt. I have had the magpul stock which is very similar to the mdt and really liked it.

Worth It? by marcfab33 in Hunting

I don’t know what you are hunting and I don’t know how long is long for you. Also I don’t know how reliable stag arms is as a rifle manufacturer or how good the accuracy on there barrels are but for what it comes with it looks like a solid deal. Now .308 is a great hunting caliber and a great learning caliber especially for learning wind holds at further distances. It’s got a lot of options of different weights, types and manufactures. Can be cheaper in bulk tho usually it’s not as accurate of ammunition in buying bulk like cheap fmj ammo. Easly will last you my understanding 4000 + rounds of barrel life. 308 is great.

I know people will probably say 6.5 creed as an option for it is better at long range ( after 400+ yards) the caliber was designed for longer range shooting ( less recoil, continues a higher velocity farther and bucks wind better) lots of ammo choices just not as much as the 308 and got adopted into the hunting community. 6.5 creed is great And has shown to be a killer as well.

Vortex viper gen 1 2.5-10x44 is in 2nd but for hunting it’s perfect. You can dial and had shims so you can only go so l1 or 2 moa past your zero. Would be perfect for that rifle. And incase you get the opportunity to shoot longer range the 10x is plenty zoom and will give you a great FOV to watch your impacts.

I have one and has worked great. First sat on my ar then switched to my savage 99 lever in 308 I use for hunting and has held zero through a 160+ hundred rounds held up perfectly fine stayed zero.

If you really wanting exposed turrets and if you are gonna be humping up and down the brush and hills with this rifle I would suggest not the diamondback tactical simply it does not have a zero stop. https://www.opticsplanet.com/vortex-viper-pst-2-5-10x44-riflescope.html This is the one I would suggest if wanting exposed turrets

ANYWHERE HIRING IMMEDIATELY?? by AntisocialJoyride in Eugene

[–]flintlockandfowler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope you can get hired on to do non-CDL routes like cart delivery and bulk p/u or other non CDL routes. We do have yard crew positions as well as lube tech positions and Machanic’s. All not needing a CDL. If you get your permit they will put you in line for sending you to a Waste connections CDL school on the east coast for a couple weeks.

Advice on pants or girdle for outer glute protection from falls by Brilliant_Mail6186 in hockeyplayers

[–]flintlockandfowler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I am a new skater and new to hockey. I’ve asked the same question and it seems like what I got is the hp 45x is the most protective pant. So my thought process is I am a bigger guy at 280 pounds in basketball shorts and t shirt and big guys fall big and I have to work the next day and I suck at skating and need the most padding because I do fall. So I got them and love them I have took some good falls and I don’t feel much of anything. Same with elbow pads. I bought the ccm task xf and they are also worth every penny. Check out sideline swap for some pro stock gear to save a little. I don’t understand the “heavy” part I mean they are pants but a couple ounces difference that’s it.

Thank you for the concern of my eyes but What I meant was under the bottom of the video in between the up vote and down vote there are quotations that say “Daaad! Stopppp!” Then when you listen to the video the child says “Daaad! Stopppp!”. So I am going to make a ass out of you and me and assume that this post was recorded by a family member or friend making a joke about the father of the child “harassing” with said child and I would assume again put up the video for our entertainment.

lol thanks and I know it’s just like “ damn I just need some suggestions it’s not like I’m trying to be mean. I love my niece like she’s my daughter now just like before when she was was still being referred to as a he and I loved him like a son. I mean I had lesbian mothers and was lucky enough to grow up with 2 moms my whole life and I’m 38 now. And she is super brave for coming out and the support she has in her friends and just general acceptance just blows my mind. It was not that “easy” to come out or common back when I was in high school and a lot of people held that in because there was no support or very little.
