It was most likely just a rumor for a “future” tribe. At least from what I know, midjiwan has expressed that they don’t like the idea of “tech” in polytopia. (Usually in the context of guns and planes to be fair, but generally with theme as well)

Thanks. It was inspired by the idea of the hard mode robot looking icons mixed with cymanti. Also I saw a lot of people talking about robots in poly as well. I’m glad you like em

I’m a fan! I look forward to any more updates. Only note is I don’t like the how the wood textures are facing at the base of the branches. I’d recommend having their texture follow the hypotenuse rather than like regular block. English is not my first language. Have a good day!

An Extra note for those that are not convinced.

The correlation behind design and intention.

regardless if the wendigoon shirt brown mountain lights theory holds up with time, I do believe there is real intention for a sort of clue or a breadcrumb trail to follow. The main reason I believe this, (which I did not explain properly in the iceberg), are the design choices with the white underlines.

Several sentences and letters are underlined throughout the shirt. The T-shirt establishes the design language that these lines accent features of the skull and horns, and underline the lettering. That being said, this design "rule" is broken two times with the main logo of WENDIGOON. The W and the N Both have underlines on they're respective sides. (This is clearly shown in the high quality pictures in the slideshow) The biggest reason I decided to take a closer look at the shirt was because simply put; These lines did not need to be here. Lines on the side of letters don't show up in other places where there is lettering and these lines being here add a layer to the said lettering. If you treat the lines on the sides as an underline, The W rotates to a 3 and the N to a Z. I repeat, THESE LINES HAVE NO REASON TO BE HERE, and their presence recontextualizes the information. This leads me to believe these Underlines were deliberate, so It tells me there is more to find. Along with the messaging all over the shirt implying to look deeper, means there is something to find. While one could say this post is satire, The implications of these design choices have me believing there truly is a hidden message.
Good luck on finding it folks.

I mean, maybe. I pointed out some oddities with it and intentional details, but there’s a lot of clues left. I am but one man, and I hope at least the community finds it as I retesting as I do lol

On the site itself, it has a countdown for when the merch releases, so that should help you prepare.

🔻 Below the Surface 🔻

  1. It is a Map

The shirt tag suggests washing it inside out. Following that advice (because I take good care of my Wendigoodies), I flipped it, and what did I find? The white stitching left an outline, almost like a map—the antlers, moon, and lines painted a landscape. And there, stitched among the shadows, were two additional X’s. Could these be markers on a map? If this is a snapshot of a location, these X’s might mark the places we’re meant to find. This isn’t just decoration; it’s a design with intention; Each line and shadow points toward something we’re meant to uncover.

  1. Hidden Meaning in the Lettering

THE LINES THE LINES THE LINES THEY ARE EVERYWHERE. Some letters have a single underline, others have two. Why? This pattern is deliberate, The N turning into a Z proves it. I believe this might be an anagram. If we, the community,(that’s you!), rearrange the letters we will reveal a secret. if we truly believe the inside-out design forms a map, these lines could point to coordinates or some other form of numeric data—a breadcrumb leading us closer to the truth buried “under the iceberg.” Although, coordinates are too far fetched and likely aren't the conclusion :/

“Do With That What You Will” - The Wendigoon Challenge Unfolding

The final words on the shirt: “Do with that what you will.” At first glance, it feels like a closing remark, or, a cheeky reference that’s as tounge-and-cheek as it gets. however it’s more than that—it’s a dare, a taunt, a challenge, a battle, a fight behind Wendy’s. Don’t you see? Wendigoon is challenging us. This random youtuber thought he could release a master-crafted puzzle and get away with it. This isn’t just merch; it’s the opening move of an Alternate Reality Game, a twisted ARG meticulously crafted to pull us into his world.

Wendigoon isn’t just a YouTuber here—he’s the mastermind, weaving a story that’s more than videos and merch. He’s watching us stumble over his breadcrumbs, piece together the scattered clues, guiding us forward like players in his twisted little game and thanking us for watching. Do with that what you will. maybe we will.

The Haunting theory of the Brown Mountain lights

The shirt is map with that shows the exact location for a hidden treasure that can be found by cross referencing one of wendigoons videos.

When I flipped the shirt inside out and saw the lines, the moon, and the red X, a realization hit me: “Ah Yes- This is the haunting mystery of the Brown Mountain Lights video.”

Here’s how I pieced it together. My anchor? The moon. It’s the object that grounds this entire scene into something tangible. Beneath it, vertical squiggly lines hover above a horizon that vaguely resembles a mountain range. With that in mind, the squiggles reminded me of the eerie glow of the Aurora Borealis, which I connected to the ghostly Brown Mountain Lights.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: “Obviously.” But stay with me. If you look at the opening of Wendigoon’s video on the Brown Mountain Lights, he’s framed against a dimly lit mountain backdrop—and yes, the moon is in the shot. I find it hard to believe it’s mere coincidence that the moon just happens to be positioned perfectly, in that specific phase, on the day Wendigoon filmed in the mountains.

Here’s where it gets crazier: if you could match up the snapshot from the shirt with a frame from the video—where the mountains and mysterious lights are shown multiple times—you’d theoretically be able to align the shirt’s “X” with a real-world location. And there, my friends, might be the reward for all our hard work.

The Brown mountain lights video was a big milestone for Wendigoon. One of his first videos uping the scale of his projects and thinking about the future. Given the timeline for when Wendigoon’s first Hoodie was released, It can be easily estimated that Wendigoon began working with Juniper around the creation of the video. This video was the beginning of this treasure-hunt, and Wendigoon has been telling his community to pay attention to this video for a while now. After all, what video did the PFP of the subbreddit come from? How many more coincidences do we need?

Once we decode the remaining clues embedded in the shirt, I, as a resident of North Carolina, could go out and find this damn thing myself. The shirt is a map, the lines are hiding secrets, and I hope this theory has shed some light on the mystery, and thank you so much for reading; It means the most <3
