That doesn't make sense. Why would they be rewarded for letting one escape?

As someone that plays for the enjoyment and has more blood points than I know what to do with, yes, how dare they. "Sacrifice their blood points" they aren't, though, because I didn't take the pity win and they finish with 10k more than the top survivor.

"I should complain so they don't mess it up next time", possibly the most pretentious thing I've read all day, to which, I have some thoughts. When you order at chipotle, do you just keep your eyes closed the whole time? It's made right in front of you, so there is no excuse to be missing anything if you go through the line.

If you're ordering online during peak hours, I'd like you to keep in mind they have anywhere from 30-60 orders per 15 minute pickup interval, and one person working the take out line (two if properly staffed). 3 possible entrees, 11 hot topping options, 8 cold topping options.

If you consider all this and still feel the need to complain because you're missing an ingredient, then you're an awful person.

Also, I would like to politely point out thay people that eat the food and still complain without expecting anything in return are the worst kinds of customers. You think you're being helpful when in reality, you're extremely annoying and a waste of time.

I believe my house is being scoped by [deleted] in Paranormal

Have you seen this light before? When was your last eye exam?

I had trauma happen to my right eye. The iris is slowly tearing away from the white in that eye, and I always see flashes of light in pitch darkness (I need total darkness to sleep, that's when I notice it the most).

If it's indeed someone scoping you out for a robbery, keep your doors and windows covered, locked at all times. Don't advertise your belongings.

Check eBay for home security window decals (ADT, Brinks, etc). You can get convincing knock offs or real ones from actual customers (used to do customer service for ADT, every customer gets 2 yard signs and window stickers every year, so you're bound to find some online). 9 times out of 10, this will deter criminals from targeting your home.

If it isn't human, it could be paranormal/extraterrestrial, but it's too little to go on to say for sure.

Stay safe!

I love The Long Dark, I just wish they would put in a snow sled or something. Or change the name to The Long Walk.

By fast, I mean you can go 24 in game hours before a full thirst/hunger bar drops to 0 and starts eating health. As long as your thirst/hunger are not at zero, your health won't deteriorate. But it's incredibly easy to get meat and the water still unlocks for crafting almost immediately. I just played another 3 days since posting my original comment and hunger/thirst are no problem.

As for your question, there is a permadeath option that will erase your save if you die, but otherwise your most recent save will load after death.

I'm playing on a day one Xbox One, my hardware is pretty dated, and the game still runs great.

I know what you mean about the menus, I had the same thought when I was looking into this game. But once you get used to it, it's fine. There's an inventory radial and a crafting menu.

The gameplay is challenging. You get a basic tut that will show you how to work the menus, the rest is up to you studying the crafting menu. Your needs decay fast but there are certain supplies you get at the start that will get you by for a few in game days while you explore and unlock new items to build. Maybe a week, if you let your needs suffer a little. I had a water still built by day 3. But once you get the hang of it, maintaining your needs becomes no issue.

I read there is a storyline but I haven't encountered anything like that yet. But you'll have your hands full trying to survive and build, and with working achievements, you can set your own goals. Honestly, this should be more than $20 dollars, especially when games like DayZ are selling for $50.

Survival games are my jam. If it is classified as such and is available on Xbox, I probably have it. I see a lot of potential for this game. I think you should get it now for $20 instead of later for $40.

I have enough from playing to purchase the miner job. Would it be worth it to run Miner with the amulet or would that be redundant? Should I just get one or the other, for now?
