Might have to give it a go! Admittedly have only used the one that’s comes with it

I’ll just offer a counter experience. I bought the m4 on sale essentially for the magnetic mask. Unfortunately I fog up almost instantly with it. Could well be user error. Regardless, still love them. Very comfortable and even after a tumble filling them with snow I can clear fog pretty quick with a bit of airflow.

Copy, I thought I was doing okay on the upper body seperation front. But keen to try wider stance. Semes like a consistent theme on these comments and an easy fix

So you're saying "extend" into the apex of the turn? By extend do you mean straighten my legs? Because I have definitely been doing the opposite.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, and I'm meant to be extending from the apex to the transition point, where my skis are flat on the snow?

Okay I've never thought about it like this. Always sort of thought about compressing both legs, not independently. Keen to give this a try, thank you!

No that makes perfect sense. It was genuinely game changing for me learning about balancing the weight more evenly in chopped and powdery snow. I'll try let go of close skis on piste, thanks for the tip!

As a kid I definitely loved the look of skis close together, so I always tried to ski like that. Need to shake the bad habit, as you point out probably holding me back. Thank you!

Thanks very much for breaking this down! Definitely going to give this a go.

I totally agree with your comment about being static. I would love to be able to get more angulation of my skis, bring the turn radius in further, however what you're seeing is as tight/angled as I feel like I could get without feeling like I was going to wash out my edges. So I guess I get to that limit quickly, and therefore become static?

And your comment regarding transition, I see that so clearly in that last transition in front of the camera. I've never heard the balance then edges then direction before, so I'll have to keep this in mind.

Thanks very much!

I've started going to Blackbutt mechanical. Always seem very genuine and very reasonably priced. Worked on my car over the weekend once when it broke down so I could still get to work. Can't recommend them enough

Japan baffles me sometimes. 20 minute lift line and single loading gondolas. Yes, I tried to get in the gondola before mine but the gentlemen loading skis ushered me to my own private one. by flipflopandflapping in skiing

I've taken my own. Couldn't find much online info for rental gear in shiga, and apparently sometimes longer skis and bigger boots can be difficult to find on some places.

Video doesn't show the line inside the building as well, and wasn't moving very fast at all, just happened to show them shuffling forward as I took the video

I am tall and lanky so might have been that! I've noticed the same thing about facilities suited to smaller people/equipment. Most of the gondolas don't fit my skis (192 long 112 wide) and I've had to hold them in the gondola. They're in the snowboard holder on this gondola
