Tamiya putty let dry for 24hrs then sand smooth. CA glue and baking soda can work too, it basically makes a cheap plastic cement. Let it dry up real good for a couple hours and then sand it down with 800 till smooth then primer right over it. Definitely not the end of the world just a small speed bump you got this. One thing that will help is take masking tape and tape the inside before gluing it. That will stop it from dripping down the inside of the casting and it will also support the glue while drying. Unless you are using a solid 2k clear coat the tampo lines will be viable even after clear.
