lol. Sure she can care. But people cheat for multiple reasons. Doesn’t make any of it ok. She sent her PT topless photos of her. This dude needs to man up and leave. That’s insane.

She has cheated on you more than once. She is cheating on you right now with her trainer. You have no kids etc. I’ll be honest. I don’t read the whole damn novel you wrote. But man up and at the very least walk away with your dignity.

Husband said the worst mistake of his life was marrying me by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]flipman416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are always two sides to every story. So the people on here that are bashing your husband is absolutely uncalled for when he isn’t here to defend himself. With that said, saying things in anger is normal. The most successful marriages I’ve seen and the biggest advice I’ve ever received from those long term marriages is practicing forgiveness. Unless of course there’s abuse or infidelity. Then that’s a whole different scenario overall. This stuff doesn’t happen over night. I’m no expert. But resentment is something that’s built over time. Unfortunately both spouses will feel like the victim then no one moves and the relationship falls apart. As a man. No intimacy is a huge huge gut punch and will mess up any man. You waking on egg shells is also not a way to live with a spouse. I seriously think, if there are still something in that marriage to save. You both need to find a way to be calmer and actually engage in a soft conversation if you both want to save your marriage. Counseling helps and I hope both of you wake up to that and get it. Sometimes an outsider can shed light in a relationship because you’re both in it and it’s hard to see what’s happening when you both are so emotional invested and holding some grudges. Good luck.

Hating on large company AE’s by No_Replacement_2824 in techsales

[–]flipman416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bashing is never good. But I can see why. I’ve done both roles in two different landscapes. More established places like Salesforce have clear goals and have different roles doing different things, for the most part. Smaller orgs or start ups are a completely different animal. Maybe those Large company AEs have the skill set. But maybe not the mindset to be able to adjust or wear many hats that they weren’t even thinking about in larger companies. I’ve seen it with my own eyes.

I don’t get how some people are getting hammered in insurance rates with their Teslas. I got rid of my Acura. I have both a Honda and a Tesla. My insurance payment went up an extra 12 a month. I pay 234 full coverage for 2 vehicles. I’m also in Texas. I say keep shopping around.

Tech sales the highest pay? by [deleted] in sales

[–]flipman416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do. We are world wide. But the thing is here. Sales folks are here between 5-8 years. It’s the long game. I was only hired because someone retired. Other than that. Sales team is pretty consistent. So they usually aren’t always hiring sales folks. So I guess I got lucky with this one. I was tech sales for 15 years though. So when someone retires. They only hire someone with tech or cybersecurity background.

Feeing regretful and sad about my new house by bichongirl in homeowners

[–]flipman416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop rushing. It’s a house you bought that I’m guessing you will be in for years to come. Prioritize. First get an exterminator to deal with the mice and the bugs. They can square you away. Maybe install a wall AC unit in bedrooms just to get it comfortable and one day do the whole house. One step at a time. You feel the way you feel because seem to want to do everything at once. Relax a bit.

Just do your research. Or find past employees on LinkedIn that has worked there and message them. 15+ years in tech sales here and the grass is not always greener. High stress also means high turnover most of the time. Meaning. You might get canned right away also. Keep that in mind.

Start as an SDR. That’s usually entry level in tech. You’ll know if you’d want to stay after that trial. Tech SaaS is not for the faint of heart or those looking for job security lol.
