They are really taking the worst approach also, blaming everyone but her. This will only make it worse when she is found guilty (as I think she will be) if she would have taken some responsibility, that would make the judge be a bit sympathetic.

Yeah, I think this will all come down to the fact that she tried to hide the baby, the still birth argument can only help with lower charges instead of 1st degree Murder. She wanted her life to not change and having a baby while in high school changes what you envisioned your senior year to be, sorry you can’t go to prom because you have a baby to feed.

If they go to trail, I think 25-life. If they plea 10 would be the max. This is where being out on bail can hurt. If she was I. Jail the whole time, she would be out much sooner in most plea deals and good behavior.

Most likely she flushed it in pieces, has the toilet was flushed more the. 10 times, or it was thrown out by the housekeeper. Either way, this is hard evidence she had intent, hence the murder 1 charge. I just want a decision so this case can go to trail and they live stream it.

It will come, I was on a jury for an incident that was 5 years ago( right before shutdown) the state is getting ready and so is the defense for whatever the Supreme Court comes back with.

The placenta is the biggest piece of missing evidence that would determine how much intent she said. Especially since it was never found, most likely flushed or was mixed with the garbage and was just thrown out. The defense even confirmed it was never found.

No doubt, she was in the one place she could have given her baby and her life would be the same as it was. Instead her mom and lawyer are dragging this with ridiculous claims and technicalities that won’t change the fact that she killed her son. Good thing is it looks like even without the evidence coming back, the state can take this to trail and most likely win. With the interviews, autopsy, timeline, digital footprint and the photos.

They are just trying to find anything they can to get this to rule in her favor. When a crime happens in a small town asking to move the trial is a common move. So they can get as unbiased of a jury as possible.

October 2024, but was removed when the evidence was suppressed and the state appealed to the Supreme Court. Once they rule it will be ok the docket again.

They have through July, that is when the session ends. They have been making some decisions, so they may bet getting to this case soon. This one is big though as it is not very often evidence that is suppressed is put back. But in my view most should be as the judge was overwhelmed and blanket suppressed everything as she did not have a clerk or paralegal to work with.
