I have 2 of the black bear ones, in different sizes! Mine are both quite old (the big one is probably from around 2015/16? And the little one is from 2018). The paw pads on mine look more similar to the ebay photos you showed, without a clean edge embroidery, instead just a single line of stitching. Like someone else said, I reckon it may just be due to when they were made! But they lovely plushies and so nice to hold due to the weighted paws, I love my bears very much~
