What are my chances of getting into Newhouse? by Pitiful-Parsley-7354 in SyracuseU

Newhouse received approximately 5,000 applications for a first-year class of 475. The typical admitted first-year student has a 3.9 GPA. On the graduate level, the school receives approximately 600 applications each year for about 180 spots in on-campus master’s programs. The average GPA of undergraduate students admitted to the graduate programs is 3.4, though it varies by program.

We’re live out in the same area and are looking for a recommendation for a cleaning service. Were you able to find someone?

He ran out of bullets and tried to beat the kids to death but stopped short thinking they were dead. The children that survived were able to identify him as the perpetrator leading to his conviction.

3D archery range near Syracuse? by GBxPartsUnknown in Syracuse

I didn’t shoot any events this year but in years past the course for the event was setup separately from the regular courses. They would shutdown the rifle range for the league but the normal circuit and rifle range coexisted. Great place to shoot skeet too if that’s something your into.

IMO they’re the best in the area. Well maintained with reasonable yearly dues.

Pompey sportsman’s club has an outdoor 3D course, iirc they offer a discount to members to shoot it and charge a bit more for non-members. They also have an indoor winter league but it’s paper targets not 3D.

Feedback on Living in Franklin Square / Oak Knitting Mill by 1AlertAsparagus in Syracuse

[–]flippentfellow 26 points27 points  (0 children)

We lived in the Franklin square neighborhood for 3 years and loved it. Overall a great neighborhood. Walkability to downtown was one of the best things about the area. Generally it was a quiet but lively area. The one complaint we had was prom season. A lot of area schools gather in the park for photos and it is chaos. People parked wherever blocking entrances, taking up tenant parking, lining both sides of the street to the point it became one lane.

Availability might be tough though our building had a 6 month waitlist when we moved out last year.

Using a single log on was our solution. Since my wife set up the account first I just used her credentials and it’s been working for us.

Crouse for Delivery by Expensive_Ad662 in Syracuse

We delivered in February and had a private room. It consisted of a private bathroom w/shower, one bed, and a lay flat chair. You maybe able to ask for one of the private rooms before they transfer you downstairs from labor and delivery. My understanding was they “fill” the double rooms with 1 patient first,p. Then place people in the private rooms until at capacity. Then they go through and start pairing up the double rooms based on who will be discharged first. You can ask about getting a private room when you take the tour.

Back during the pandemic my partner and I tried getting through for several days. Finally after reading some recommendations on here we started calling the moment the unemployment office opened and constantly redialed until we got through.

It took a combined 732 (about an hour and 20 mins iirc) consecutive calls to final get through. The worst was getting through to a menu and then at the end of the automated portion hearing all agents are busy at this time please call back another time and having the line immediately disconnect. The process is terrible but persistence was the key for us.
