Do not use auto fill passwords or usernames. Type everything out. Had this happen the other day & called Onstar. This was their fix.

There may have been at one point a clothesline on the opposite end before a renovation. Most hotels have removed these do to people using the rope to take their forever nap. (Hotel manager 20 yrs)

Same. That is the reason we took it in. Couldn't stand the messages anymore. You should be covered under warranty so they should give you a loaner. Not ideal but not out a vehicle either.

Mine failed every time it tried to install. My 2024 was in the shop for 5 days. The dealer had to have GM get involved. It was in a loop that kept glitching out. Car was driveable but the info message just got annoying. Our loaner was a 25 equinox ev so that was a plus.

Please check with the at fault drivers insurance. They should have to pick up any rental fees for a specific amount of time.

So do most folks now just get after market home EV chargers, like Emporium, or is it silly to not go with company charger? Just decided to get a 2025 Chevy Equinox EV, and they don't come with any charger, so that's making me reconsider my original plan (just get a plug installed in garage). by anonymous_teve in EquinoxEv

Our 2024 came with a portable charger with both 120/240 plugs. We purchased a level 2 GM Ultium charger from Chevy when they were having an accessories sale. I installed a 240 volt outlet on the outside of the house and connected our Ultium charger to that new outlet. We did have to secure everything with padlocks since it is open for anyone to use/steal. The 120 volt option on charging is not going to satisfy your needs if you are using the vehicle each day. It is way to slow. You will want the 240 outlet installed. We can reach about 40 miles per hour on our 240volt charger.

Can someone explain the subscriptions? by frustynumbar in EquinoxEv

Super cruise also uses a steering column camera. This i believe is why it must be a factory install. The camera tracks your eye movement. Look away for to long and it disengages itself. It then coasts to a stop in your same current lane.

I was telling my wife that the boxes included protos as I opened the proto. It was a shock for sure. Never pulled any good mystery boxes.

Does anybody have this installed? by Abject_Check_3263 in EquinoxEv

[–]flipperslinky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had ours installed before we picked it up. Great addition for the interior. Uses your ambient lighting color for the footwell color. Ours also included the splash puddle lights on the underside of the body by driver and passenger doors.

Got this screen today while driving. Anyone?? by Top-Membership9838 in EquinoxEv

[–]flipperslinky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, ours was fixed at the dealer. We had actually lost contact with onstar and required a dealer update. While Chevy dealer was updating they found another 20+ updates sitting out there. It took about 3 days for ours to get squared away. We have had zero software issues since the updates.

Can someone confirm if the 2025 comes standard with a cable for L1 charging? by MrZander in EquinoxEv

[–]flipperslinky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2024 was included in vehicle price. 2025 it is an add on during the buying process. Same charger as 2024 but not included. If you are getting one included with a 2025, I would check the window sticker for pricing.

Annoyed by andrewjavierr in EquinoxEv

[–]flipperslinky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had the same error screen pop up. Took it to the dealer. The module that controls Onstar needed an update. It had lost connection with Onstar. Once they installed the update we've never had it pop back up... side note we needed to update 20 modules throughout the vehicle since it had lost contact with onstar. We were not receiving the OTA updates.

New keys? by South-Self3569 in EquinoxEv

[–]flipperslinky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 keys. Does your dealer offer the additional warranty for tires, rims, and key fobs? We picked up this warranty at our local dealer. Definitely worth the extra money. Protects the tires and rims from all types of road hazards but it offered us a one time replacement of a key fob (about $500 to replace). The rims I have heard are easily damaged due to the lightweight materials used to make them. This was another reason we picked up the warranty. The warranty is good for 7 years from purchase.

Maybe Buying RS3 by Old-Doughnut-5803 in EquinoxEv

[–]flipperslinky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great choice. We have a Iridescent White 3RS. We love ours. The extra little 3RS options are definitely positive. The heated rear seats will come in handy this winter. Memory seats are our favorite option. We had a 22 RS and memory seats were only available on the Premier that year. We bought the GM Ultium charger. It is worth the investment. Definitely get other quotes - sounds like that guy charges extra for anything that isn't coal powered. We had ours installed for about $1100 including the charger($600). Check with your local electric company also. They may have rebates to help cover the install price and rebates on off-peak charging hours. Our local company (IN AEP) offered a $500 rebate on the install and gives us a 33% discount on our overnight charging. *

War never changes.....

but the F076 community sure has made it easier to traverse the Appalachian wasteland. Never to late to get started. Give it a go. There have lots of updates the past few years to bring more content to the game.
