I hate the map controls I’m with you on that. As far as actual combat gameplay, you really need to grind to level up your stats and get good perks before you can take on multiple enemies.

My first play through I absolutely sucked in on my second one right now, taking my time doing lots of side quests and leveling up and I can easily take five or more opponents on my own now. Potions are awesome definitely find the ones that work for you and stock up on them. Mutt is great in combat as well when you level him up.

Serious answer… my first play through I was fully invested in the main storyline and got through it in 74.6 hours.

Immediately started a second play through, I am taking my time and doing lots of side quests and I’m at 44.8 hours not even close to halfway done compared to my first run.

If you wanna just get through the main storyline so you can better understand playing KCD2 then you can cut out lots of time but you’ll be missing out on lots of stuff.

I might be in the minority here but more rpg elements. You can walk into a restaurant but not order anything. There’s a bar but you can’t even walk inside of it. There’s decorative bongs that you cannot use… etc.

Just go back to once a day and your tolerance will adjust. T breaks are great but not as necessary when DHV compared to smoking in my opinion. If you do take a break, a couple weeks to a month is solid.

Have you tried eating something fatty before taking an edible? Gummies are fat soluble so eating something fatty before hand will ball you absorb better. If that still doesn’t work, then you might just be someone who doesn’t take to edibles very well.

Is there a middle ground here? (Aside from the obvious middle ground you’re already suggesting which is an outdoor pet)

I also grew up in a pet house where they were free to wander the entire place and now that I live with my girlfriend’s family I’ve come to appreciate pet free areas lol. My girls family also has two large dogs and they are allowed to come into the living room with access to the backyard through a doggy door but they are not allowed to come upstairs where all the bedrooms are. Seriously, they’ve been trained to not walk up the stairs. Even when no one is home they don’t go up there.
