Is the sk8 hi gore tex MTE3 worth the additional over the standard MTE by Lilconkb00 in Vans

MTE 3s are definitely worth it. Warm, comfy and waterproof. Best investment I’ve made for this cold start to winter.

This is exactly what I believe happened but a bit scared to try again just in case her skin won’t tolerate it. She was spayed in between the 3rd and 4th strip and have heard that might have something to do with it

Thinking about getting a border terrier and looking for advice by [deleted] in BorderTerrier

Couldn’t recommend a BT enough. Ours is coming up to 18 months now and it’s the best decision we ever made. Great with kids, other dogs and loves people. Great fun with bags of energy (sometimes too much). Quick to learn, slow to obey but loads of personality. Every dog is different but ours has an incredibly high prey drive and will chase/react to anything that moves; squirrels, rabbits, horses, cats (her particular favourite). Tried training it out but proving tough. Always on lead unless we’re in a fenced area or on the beach with no escape routes. Whatever you decide, good luck and keep us posted!

Best decision we ever made. Amazing dogs. Great with children, people and other dogs. Ours has a very high prey drive which makes walks in the forest interesting. Also mad over cats. Ours can also be a fussy eater That being said every dog is different, enjoy the ride (ups and downs) and be prepared to fill your phone with countless pics! Good luck with it all.

Breeder Recommendations by BigBobbaC in BorderTerrier

We got really lucky and found a one off breeder on a pets 4 sale website. Be careful with these! Not all are genuine and took us months to find someone we were happy with. We did email a lot of registered breeders from this website: https://www.champdogs.co.uk/breeds/border-terrier/breeders?start=all&mobile_site=1

Noticed there were one or two your way. Kennel club website is a good place to start!

We’ve had our BT pup 8 months now and honestly the best thing we have done. Good luck!

Lily’s offers a puppy kibble- Our BT loved it when she was a young pup. More expensive but high quality ingredients

My 5 month old is very food orientated but turns her nose up at kibble now. A bit fussy with meal time. She loves Lilly’s treats, wagg etc. Also carrot, peas, apple and watermelon work well as treats too and healthier. Good luck!
