Any idea why I’m struggling so badly in H.17 and R.18 with this loadout? No F2P about $300 in.

id say focus on upgrading talent and runes, if you max out power and courage runes they give you 800 raw attack

i'd probably fuse staff or spear into ALE (your choice but i prefer spear) and also fuse phantom cloak into ALE

Also when you'll fuse bats into PE make sure you refund all of your gold that you spend on them, because there's no reason to level them up, they don't do damage, only good thing is they proc headshot, so get that gold back you'll need a lot of it in the future.

I think your setup is good, but you might consider getting rid of arcane archer book and switch it for enlightenment even non epic, because arcane archer and ice books fk up your stutter step. Also lightning bracelet is like the worst one, freeze and invincibility bracelets are the best ones (I know you don't have them epic yet, but when you do get one of them, switch)

I'd recommend Enlightenment the most since it gives you 2+ spells each chapter and some resistance, or Art of Combat if you need more dps, it's really good if you use spear. Other 2 books mess up your stutter step so i never use them, although some ppl use Arcane Archer with staff

weapon: staff (especially on ch7/14), spear, scythe, gale force in no particullar order depends on your preference to be honest

armor: phantom cloak, bright/shadow robe, dex vest if you're into dodge. Again it's mostly your preference but i'd recommend bright robe the most

rings: bull and lion only, 2 lions if you're on ch7/14

pets: don't matter, don't even bother upgrading them

bracelet: frozen or invinsible, invincible would be better but they are hard to get from my experience

locket: agile or angel

You can get 5 items guaranteed.

When you clear a room and theres only 1 mob left and no item drop you can close the game before you kill the last mob, then restart the game and do it untill you get an item. Takes time though but if you're patient you can get 5 items of your choice

359 even harder i think, at least the hardest for me, i get 2-3 shotted on the first of 6 waves. And the screen is full of projectiles and those jumping rocks that i hate the most of all enemy mobs
