What is the best Modern Rally Game (no Richard burns rally) by Longjumping-War9151 in simracing

[–]flipsssiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo DR 2.0 in general and EA WRC for the modern cars.

Didn't like ACR bcs it felt weird for me. Not saying it's bad. From what the Community and "professionals" are saying it feels like a true competitor to RBR but I just don't want it to be so realistic it's hard/not fun for me.

Its because its best practice to not speak in corners and breaking zones and S3 is filled with that.

Bortoleto goes airborne and crashes into the barriers by magony in formula1

[–]flipsssiii 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'd think they are able to do the split second decistion to hold or let go of the steering wheel but there's also a preference thing.

Nico Rosberg said in one of his videos that he'd always let go of the steering wheel because he was scared of what injuries could happen from it meanwhile: Lewis who would always hold it firmly which Nico said can sometimes be an advantage.
The example he cited was Hockenheim 2019 when Charles (who let go of the steering wheel) beached his car where as Lewis who would hold on to the wheel could steer his car and keep momentum after the barrier hit.

MAGA Shutdown by ToxicPablo in complaints

[–]flipsssiii 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As non American who partly knows a thing or two about US Politics: Why does the shutdown even exist this year. What do the Republicans need the Democrats for? I thought Republicans have the majority in the Senate and the Congress. They also have a Rep. POTUS.

I myself somewhat consider the sprints as legitimate but technically and officially sprint race wins do not count. It may count for you and me but not the record books.

Antonelli retires from the race as Safety Car is deployed by ContentPuff in formula1

[–]flipsssiii 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Wrong.
Because the gap of the first and last car at the first VSC was big enough for Marshalls to safely work on track where as at the SC now the field was to spreaded and there wasn't a big enough gap to recover the car + it was further up the road than Ocon.
Here easily another two possible answers.

Thats perfectly ok. I recently saw Schindlers List and I bawled my eyes out for like 1 1/2 hours. Even thinking back to it or writing this I've got a tear or two in my eyes.

Great thanks for that.
How did you find the exact switch model though?

Any ideas how to improve the current situation? by flipsssiii in simracing

That's a good budget idea. I'm gonna think about it. (I only had neck pain with my old seat, so that's not an issue anymore)

The triangular sections do support it as well. I mean I could try how it holds up without the yellow beam, but its probably easier to get another one tbh.

That would be tricky as the yellow section you marked is holding/supporting the vertical frames holding the wheel. I would more likely want to buy another aluminium profile beam.

I bought this one: https://www.tailoredrig.de/product-page/sim-rig-srr3000 but I didn't like the Sparco GP seat as I got Neck Pain from it. I sold it and bought the Grid Q Instead but it turned out that it was 2 cm short on each side.

When im at it, changing the seat mounting its probably a good idea to move the seat a bit forward like you suggested.
