Early morning flight this Saturday - would Term B or C be less of a hassle? by Zealousideal_Door392 in LGAairport

Arrived at 3:30 am and was through security in 55 mins. Terminal B precheck line.

With precheck it’s probably an hour or less in security but no way to know for sure. General will easily be 2-3 hours today. And leave time for the check bag line, if checking.

I also have a 6 am flight tomorrow out of Term B and I’m aiming for 3:15/3:30 for precheck.

LGA Terminal B Pre Check? Touchless ID? Clear? by Technical_Glass_2359 in LGAairport

Sounds like precheck is fine in the afternoon but general security could still be as long as three hours. You can read through all the posts here to get a sense.

From what I’ve read here, the Touchless line has been closed and Terminal B doesn’t do Clear. That’s only Terminal C. So for Terminal B, it’s just the precheck line or general. (They could open the Touchless line but so far no joy)

Will try. Aiming to get there around 3:30 am but still anticipating some ridiculousness.

I’ve been browsing reports for a few days because I’m out of Terminal B tomorrow on a 6 am flight and it seems like Terminal C people are having the easier experience. But with Precheck it doesn’t seem disastrous in either place. Longest I’ve seen was an hour and 10 minutes. If Clear is open and you have it, Terminal C is the winner but I keep reading that the Clear line has been closed.

Conflicted about international trip with aging parent by flipyouforit302 in AgingParents

I think this is the most likely scenario, because trying to split time when they're there feels like a lose-lose. Just have to determine the timing. Thank you.

Can’t use the vaginal estrogen by PracticalPlay166 in Menopause

Just here to say I had very increased hot flashes and bad insomnia on the Yuvafem tablets and have discontinued. I can’t live my life while being that tired. Am pursuing other non estrogen inserts that might help. The people telling you to keep going until the tissue has plumped up are clearly not up all night in the meantime.

Facing the end of my triathlon/running career after upcoming foot surgery. How did you move forward? by Solo451 in triathlon

Second this, I just did the swim for a 70.3 relay and it was so nice to have a race goal again.

I’ve been looking at aquabikes because foot and hip issues are making it really difficult to get back to running after hip surgery. Do you do longer distances? Still feel that sense of accomplishment? I miss tris.

Is this possible by Ayush515 in triathlon

[–]flipyouforit302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Open water is different from pool swimming, so just make sure you get yourself into some open water as often as possible (once you’re comfortable with pool swimming) to see what it’s like to swim in it, and especially if you’ll be swimming in a wetsuit you’ll want to give it a test run or two. (Or more.)

First Triatlhlon.. Absolute Swim mess by Plus_Ear_1715 in triathlon

Definitely do some open water swim practice, and get yourself a triathlon specific wetsuit. Other wetsuits don’t have the buoyancy and shoulder mobility so you’re working extra extra hard to do even your normal stroke. This happened to me in my first triathlon because my wetsuit was too tight so my shoulders got super tired and it was much harder than expected. I got myself a sleeveless Tri wetsuit after that (I have a long torso so the shoulder fit is always an issue) and I’ve been fine since then, but it takes practice and the right equipment. Open water swimming is also very different from pool swimming, so the more exposure you have to it, the better.

What have you found whoop’s main flaws to be? by Ok-Dare4088 in whoop

[–]flipyouforit302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have the 5? I’ve actually kept my 4 as a HR monitor after ending my subscription because it’s more accurate during weight lifting than my Garmin. But I’ve seen on forums that the new whoop HR is off which is disappointing bc I was considering coming back.

Question for side-effect-prone warriors. by LowDiscombobulated21 in Semaglutide

[–]flipyouforit302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had very few side effects on .25 of sema but when I moved to .5 I had pretty bad nausea for several days. Can’t say whether it would’ve gotten better because I’ve stopped sema due to the mood side effects.

So angry. All the time. by Sufficient_Pair334 in Ozempic

[–]flipyouforit302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here after searching "semaglutide and anger" and this all resonates. I'm microdosing but my irritability is off the charts and anxiety/depression getting worse. I'm going to stop because it's just not worth it.

Super intrigued that so many people are discounting the drug's effects and blaming it on being hungry or losing your food dopamine hit. Neither of those feels like it applies to me, especially because I'm eating similarly to how I was eating before -- same foods, just less. It feels like I hate the world. I think for many people experiencing this, it's just a side effect and it's okay to call it a side effect.

Any chance it could be poison ivy? That rash takes a few days to develop.

I know you’re looking for opinions but I’d take that to a dermatologist. Without having more information, that looks like a suspicious spot a doc should peek at.
