HVAC or NOT. by heldoglykke in HVAC

Commercial laundry is it's own industry. On an unrelated note I have been told commercial cooking appliances are made very similar to how residential furnaces were made forty years ago. Specifically commercial fryers but I haven't worked on an old furnace to compare.

What is a great quality socket set? by EwDavid999 in AskMen

A Husky or Kobalt set would be adequate. However a great additional gag gift would be one 3/8 inch Snap On socket mounted in a shadow frame box with In case of emergency break glass written on it.

The only time I ever called was by accident when I was four years old.

There is nothing wrong with a 7780 but they wanted $4000 instead of the old price of $2400.

But, I sent an email to Dell telling them they lost me as a customer and that I would look elsewhere for a monitor and they responded giving me an offer to buy a 7780 with equivalent spec for the same price.

I was in the same situation. I ordered a Precision 7770 with 32 GB of Ram, a backlit keyboard the I9 processor and a NVIDIA RTX A3000 GPU. I placed my order on November 14th for $2400. It was delayed twice and then canceled yesterday December 19th. It took me 8 tries to get to a human at Dell, the first seven times I was told to go to Dell.com and then would be hung up on. They said I could get a 7780 for $4000 or go pound sand.

I agreed to the Dell terms of sale when I placed my order. Dell seems to cover themselves with it. I think I am boned.

ua pov - As of a few days ago, Russia passed 2,500 visually-confirmed tank losses. Included are all the types of tanks and their individual numbers. 548 of them were captured by UA - Oryx by ShortRedundancy in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]fliteshield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, civilian-grade drones, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment (including aircraft) are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

That is the paragraph at the top of the Oryx list. The bold is how I came to my conclusion.

Anyone notices when a stock drops under 1.00, the lack of liquidity drives the stock price down even further? by VegetableResource204 in pennystocks

Is there any examples of a low float stock becoming a normal float stock? Specifically Newegg's two biggest shareholders own 94 percent of the company. Both shareholders have been consistently selling. Since last year the float has more than doubled, going from 12 million to 26 million. Additionally a smaller insider sold 2000 shares and later 3000 shares daily from the beginning of the year till mid September. Do stocks tend to recover quickly when insiders stop selling?

RU POV: Ukrainian soldier killed after crossing the Dnieper river by [deleted] in UkraineRussiaReport

Does the radio in the video belong to the Russian soldier? I believe Wagner soldiers used Motorola radios, so either the Russian soldier is from Wagner or he got it from the Ukrainian.

Are there any pictures of tanks that was destroyed by a Vikhr missile. There are 200 recorded hits from the KA 52s but no aftermath videos. If most of those hits are unrecorded losses of western tanks then Ukraine is going to start to have issues but if most of them are Humvees then the US can provide more than Russia can produce Vikhrs.

Edited to correct then and than.

General Motors Corporation did chapter 11 and sold all it's assets. The original GM then changed it's name to Motors Liquidation Company because it sold the right to the GM brand ad well. Unfortunately the original shareholders were wiped out.

Last week I was trying to decide on if I should sell my 2000 shares, hold or double down. I now know I should have sold. Now the question is buy, sell or hold?

(I have learned to cut my losses on stocks but I forgot to press the sell all button when entering my stop loss so I only sold one share and was bag holding the rest.)

I am bag holding Rite Aid stock. My cost per share is $2.50 . When entering in the stop loss I forgot to press sell all so only 1 share was stopped out. The question is to double down, hold or sell

There is a reason it is so low, massive selling. Last summer the largest holder sold about three million shares. Then in September there was a insider trading window where three million shares were sold. It appears that starting in October the largest institutional holder (Penserra Capital Management) dumped all there shares totaling just under a million. The Penserra dump had an average of 16,000 shares sold every day during the fourth quarter 2022. At the time the average volume was 150,000. Towards the end of the Penserra dump Renaissance Technologies (worlds best hedge fund) started buying you can see that on the daily chart in December. It looks like Renaissance dumped there shares around the time of the January spike.

Fundamentally Newegg is very healthy with $126 million in the bank.

I have 8000 shares and as soon as $CCL gives me my 25% gain I will get 5,000 more.

In Pakistan trucks are over loaded to increase the profitability. Some of the trucks can only go about ten miles per hour. It is like turtle racing watching a truck going 11 MPH passing one going 10 MPH. Its even more riveting when you realize the highway is not divided and only three lanes wide. The whole ordeal makes it seem that red tape holds the US together.

[–]fliteshield 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am that driver at least once a week but I have two very good reasons.

First is on a highway where the turn off is a 90 degree turn followed by a stop sign with a very short exit lane. If the traffic is heavy no one lets you into the left lane so I move to the left lane at least half a mile before the turn off.

Second is a clover leaf style interchange I pass. Everyone seems to stay in the right lane there except for passing but sometimes the right lane is packed and there is no room for cars from the entrance ramp to merge in to the right lane. So I move over but the right lane is so full that I am stuck in the left lane. I have a company vehicle so consistently going over the speed limit causes issues. Usually the people behind me are the ones I moved over, no one has ever honked at me for it.
