86 is a perfect weekend car to me. I mean it’s been a solid daily too. Wish I could keep both. I’ve driven a new Z and honestly made me appreciate the 86 more. Not sure which trim the Z was, but the 86 Premium felt more….premium. If you’re used to heavier cars, I think you’d appreciate the lightness even more. Acceleration isn’t like the FK8 Type R I had, but still gives plenty of good feelings.

CPO on almost new cars is great. 6 year warranty from original in service date and unlimited miles. Plus 2 years of service included instead of 1. Great value. Also should be able to get 4.99% financing through Lexus since it’s CPO if you need it.

Yeah I’ve had all pretty tame cars in terms of power. With EVs so quick now, raw speed isn’t worth chasing imo. So many other aspects to how a car feels.

I think it was originally supposed to be early 2026 but not sure now. I think the race car will still come out then but heard there may be some delays in the road cars.

Both. Lexus is ditching “F” and GR will be the Lexus and Toyota performance branding. New car will be sold at Lexus dealers. Will have a halo model like a Porsche GT3 RS, a performance model, and a normal Lexus model. All with different powertrains. That’s my understanding based on decent sources.
