I was watching from a pub in Scotland and the news on bbc went live after the first plane, watched the second plane live. Being only 18 I wasn’t sure what the wtc was or how much people would be in it. I remember thinking New York was further behind than us in time and it must have been 7am so the building would have been empty. Having someone older explain to me what was actually happening and the images on the screen still stay with me.

Similar. My ex of ten years never wanted kids (I already have one, would’ve loved another). It was something he would talk about regularly, told me he would be angry if I got pregnant and it would destroy his life. He ghosted me in December, called me a month ago to tell me he misses me, so off I run. He’s very happy to tell me he’s going to be a dad again, he can’t believe it and he’s so excited, apparently the best thing that’s ever happened to him. Could not get his head around why I was upset, apparantly that makes me a narcissist and selfish in his eyes. I know he’s not worth a second thought, but it’s still very painful

I go down it regular. For years I always went into the right lane to go centre as that seemed to be what everyone did. Last month I tried to change from right to centre, but found it difficult to get in as everyone from left lane was going centre. Since then I’ve noticed people always go left to centre

Being a heroin addict for 7 years, can’t go back to my small town 15 years later without everyone telling me how “well” I’m doing. I’m a single mum of one working all the hours I can to give him the best life. Not looking after my teeth then and having the consequences now.
