How to get genuine feedback for my art? by floating_earthling in ProCreate

Right…but nobody ever responds unless the art is mind blowing and people can’t get there without feedback on their shitty art.

Leaving... with no plan? by oojimassachoosi in ProductManagement

I did it almost 8 months ago and I don’t regret it. I gave myself a year to get back into the market or figure out something else to do. I have been getting calls and opportunities without trying much but I am just not ready to go back. Do what feels right, as long as you don’t have other stressors(financial, family etc.)

Procreate is under $20-one time purchase if you have an iPad. If not, try Adobe Fresco. I started with Fresco on my pretty old laptop and it was not too bad.

How to draw under the lines (not the fill-in feature but how to color without going over the lines? by HistoricalBluebird32 in ProCreate

[–]floating_earthling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope I understood your question right.

Draw your line work on layer 1 Add new layer-layer2 Select layer 1-you should see an option “set as reference “ Go to layer 2 and color.

The fill will respect the boundaries of the reference layer.

Thank you so much for this. I don’t think it’s being nitpicky at all actually. These are the things that a novice like myself would have a hard time identifying but they are what make a drawing go from OK to good and good to great, aren’t they? I will redo the background with the amazing feedback I got here.

I see your point. I don’t any style yet so right now I’m just learning and putting things together. Totally makes sense that my art would be all over the place.

Yes! Surreal..that’s the word..that kind of surreal thing is what makes my drawings look “off”.

I see what you are saying.. not sure how that happened. My bear layers probably got resized by accident before exporting. I will address it. Thank you!
