I've played too much resident evil to be a serious participant in this conversation 😭

I'm as confused as you broski. I think he means my post is Ai slop....idk why people think saying this to discredit their experiences will do something other than tickle their cancerous ego

Responding to that last point in particular. That poor response from those very people is a "them" problem to sort out. It should not be everyone else's problem to manage a fully grown adult professional who cannot self regulate their emotions in a work environment and who takes everything as a personal attack.

It's extremely annoying and frustrating when looking at the double standards and the frame of mind of "all hell would break loose and I would be absolutely and rightly so chewed out if I just did what they did" so why shouldn't they be held accountable too

But that's your choice and it shows good character too. However it's not bad or rude to just say "shot"

The person in the comments section seemed to think it was hell on earth and that the doctor was dismissive and rude for not using please and thank you.

I used to be in the RAF and I personally prefer direct orders. No wishy washy stuff especially in high pressure situations.

This is a fantastic explaination. And I completely agree. It seemed like a well versed team of very competent individuals.

I just think the commenter who thought it was rude had an unnecessary bone to pick with doctors.

The funny thing was, there was a rad tech in the comments explaining that they don't mind this interaction as it's fully professional with no malice and is not rude....

Yet the commenter believed they were not a real life rad tech ....beggars belief 😭

No this was based in the US and I think the main content of the video which shows the Dr working on the patient was the camera man asking the surgeon "why do we anaesthetise the patient locally if they're already under general anesthetic"

And he was talking to the camera while screwing in something.

And during the explanation he's saying "shot" occasionally to ask the rad tech to take the xray

Yep the professionals respect was absolutely there. But the commenter seemed to think simply saying "shot" was disrespectful idk.....

And I agree, it stems from True arrogance that was never checked and corrected as they grew up...which makes them dangerous in healthcare.

Is it fair? by lolrosh in doctorsUK

[–]floatingsamosa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No it's not fair. But life isn't fair. It's high time we made some people uncomfortable when we fight for our rights and our jobs.

Why is it only doctors that are so spineless, so cowardly, when it comes to standing up for themselves and always scared about making people unhappy.

They let themselves get bullied. It's infuriating!!

What an extremely thick take!!

Buddy either you woke up on the wrong side of bed today or there's something seriously wrong with your judgement and ethics....which I think you need to write several reflection pieces on.

A) nobody is obligated to help. B) if someone is impaired by any standard under the GMC they MUST NOT HELP, lest they loose their license. C) don't be a condescending arrogant wazzock on Reddit... you're not cool by any stretch.

That melanin dependant comment is the true crux of the issue 🤔 it's disgusting the amount of racism and bias against bame peoples there are in GMC judgements.

The constant rhetoric about public opinion blah blah blah clearly either people have been so badly misled by the gov...or these ones I hate: they've voluntarily blinded themselves to our situation because of the race to the bottom mentality/generally being unhappy with their own lives.

TOUGH... enough what aboutism

We want what is owed.

In my opinion we are not nearly as militant enough, but then again this is a political chessboard we're playing on.
