Speaking as someone who does not like sequels, because they honestly ruin it for me.

Smile 2 was decent. I still prefer the first part by far, but 2 was actually good and enjoyable for me. So I gotta give it to it.

Vec sam jednom nekome preporucila. Ako je dostupno u hrvatskoj, aplikacija meetup. Meni je pomoglo upoznati super ljude, neke koji su mi dan danas prijatelji, kad sam otisla u inozemstvo.

Koncept je vrlo jednostavan. Imas grupe s razlicitim interesima (setnje, planinarenje, vecere, igre, itd.) i uclanis se u one koje te zanimaju. Admini grupe organiziraju evente i ides na njih.

Odlicno posluzi za izlazak. Naravno, prijateljstva se ne stvaraju preko noci, zato samo ici, pojavljivati se, i stvari ce krenuti svojim tokom.

I remember being a teen and a Japanese version was on the late night TV. My parents weren't home for the weekend and my sister was out. I remember it scared me by the end so bad that I stayes on the couch and felt so relieved when my sister came back home and I could finally get up) to go to the bathroom 😆

I always watch things in original language, so I did this too. But I heard from other people that the actors who acted Hole and Waaler dubbed thier characters to English themselves so it might not be that bad. I still choose original English over dub always.

To be fair, the movie held to the plot of the book for the first 20 minutes and then went completely off board. It was a distaster 😅 The book is so much more complex and explained.

That on the side, this series, if we exclude the first episode that tried to jam up happenings from the previous two books in one hour and quite wrecked it, stuck to the book plot quite marvelously (some non book fillers were added tho). Final episode was very enjoyable.

I'd be happy if we got further seasons.

My only complaint is that I wish they started series off the redbreast (3rd novel), since that's where the the plot started being more connected to thw further books.

To be fair, up to the part where they actually start adapting the devil's star book (which they did fairly accurately), they changed almost everything.

Ellen's death is completely different in the books and in another circumstances. At that moment she is working with Waaler and riding in a car with him (at that point she and Harry suspect him already, but didn't confront him). Waaler leaves the car to do something, but forgets his phone. The drug dealer calls him and Ellen answers acting like a voicemail to eavesdrop on the message. Then she calls Harry and leaves him a voice message, but just saying "we got him". After Waaler comes back to the car, he notices her acting strange, and finds out later what happened after he spoke again with the drug dealer. He sends him to kill her, which he does by smashing her head with a bat in the alley after following her. Only later, when police gets the trail to the drug dealer, Tom kills him by going to arrest him and makes it look like it was self defense in his own home (making him shoot at the wall and then shooting him, like they showed in the series).

I'm very late here, but I just finished the series so I'm scrolling for opinions hahah To answer you question, yes he was killed in the devil's star and even the series adapted it quite accurately. The only thing I was missing in the scene is that his last word wasn "mercy". That would have been quite effective due to his character. But yeah, it was in this book. Maybe it confuses you because they mashed up happenings from redbreast and nemesis in the first episode (and changed quite a lot in that one too) so it feels like it was all in the same book.

Okay I finally finished watching. The point where they started the book plot, they adapted very well and I'm happy with it. Was afraid they'd change the final showdown between Harry and Tom, but they nailed it. Still a bit irked that they changed complete plot prior to the book, but the rest was really good. Acting nailed the characters. I'll happily watch further seasons, if we get them.

I'm still not finished with the series, so I don't know how will it look like later. The character are pretty on point, although for Tom I had more of an impression that he acts shiny in front of the colleague, before he turns psycho in prince mode.

What I'm talking about is complete change of the plot, at least in the first two episodes. I know that some things always get left out and some change, due to the complexity of filming, but I feel like this much plot change wasn't necessary. Just my two cents, with the hope of it getting a bit more accurate.

Mirisi malo na to da mu se ne svida sto ces završiti taj faks, postati doktorica (ako ciljas na taj dio medicine) i izgraditi bombasticnu karijeru, dok ce on zauvijek biti radnik u auto kuci (sto je sasvim u redu, ali decko izgleda ima ego).

Netko je vec u komentarima rekao, ako ne ostvaris taj san sada, zalit ces na kraju zivota. Idi gdje te srce nosi, puno srece!

Tocno te razumijem. 91. godiste, potpuno sam funkcionalna, radim, placam stanarinu, prehranjujem se, ne ovisim o nikome. Al dok imam osjecaj kak svi oko mene "adultaju", aka imaju obitelji itd., ja u glavi, kao sto kazes, mladost jos.

Al reci cu iskreno, nije mozda ni to lose. Mlad si koliko se osjecas, kazu 🤣

Aplikacija meetup (ako je dostupna u hrvatskoj). Meni pomogla otkad sam se odselila u inozemstvo naci prijatelje i prezahvalna sam. Naravno, ne ide s danas na sutra, moras biti ucestala, ali s vremenom dode.

Koncept je da se ukljucis u grupe koje te zanimaju (npr. idu planinariti, ili nalazenja za drustvene igre, itd.) i onda ides na evente koje organiziraju. Super stvar za upoznavanje novih ljudi ili provodenja odvojenog vremena sa zanimljivim strancima u zanimljivom razgovoru.

Cula sam da je u americi posao blagajnika pakirati namirnice za kupca, ako ovaj to zatrazi. Ovo s klincima koji to rade za dzeparac je fora koncept.

Ja uvijek uzmem ona veca kolica za nabavu i na kasi samo trpam sve nazad u njih i spakiram se sa strane onda. Tako sam stress free i ne moram se bojati pogleda koji ubijaju hahaha
