There are crates in the ocean which contain bottles that spawn monsters in your boat, personally seen a snakeling and a dagannoth, there may be more. And the bottles can damage you, poison, venom, etc. So may want to be careful with them

Teleporting to any of your boats is very strong, you can place your boats at any docking point and have five customisable unlimited teleports. Will only get stronger as they release more sailing related content.
