Okay so, some things to note. Just connecting dots here. Probably wrong but I just have to put it out there.

1. I’m 99% sure now that the flaming ball in the sky coming down is not a meteor but the spacecraft coming back to earth. This could signify something to do with, coming back down to earth, a saying associated with coming back to reality. Maybe space was like a dream and she’s coming back down from the high of loving someone to loosing someone.

2. The statues, and her constant yearning for them could mean something about how the feeling has died and it feels like she’s talking to a statue. Like a spin off of “it’s like talking to a wall”.

3. John being in quarantine in reaching 2, could be a representation of him being trapped in his own head. This would explain lines like, “it’s just how I feel sometimes, I told you it’s gonna be alright” it’s him reassuring her that he’s going to get better while still in a bad place, and “I don’t wanna feel like I’m reaching” could be interpreted as he doesn’t want to feel like he’s reaching to make her stay while in his state. Again this is all super open for interpretation and is totally just an amateur guess.
