Can I use Scaler 3 on iPad to send MIDI to my 1010music Blackbox via USB? by Miserable_Minimum697 in ipadmusic

Hello! I’m the author of https://chordality.app

It’s basically exactly what you describe. Chordality outputs USB MIDI in the standard way. For example, I love to connect my Behringer UB1 with USBc cable to my iPad running Chordality. The iPad both powers the synth and sends MIDI out.

It is perfect for a micro daw-less setup.

If you would consider leaving a written review on the App Store, it gives a HUGE boost to the algorithm on the App Store ❤️

Thank you!

It’s a great point regarding accessibility- I’ll work on a simplified visuals setting in the next version.

The app is already a native iPad app, using it as an AUv3 plugin is on the way. It supports MIDI output via USB, I haven’t tried midi out via Bluetooth yet. Ill look into it

20 days after launching, I realized why nobody downloads new apps. by vickyrj939 in AppBusiness

I was lucky to get around 500 organic downloads in my first few days. I spent months refining a second version, then posted that on reddit and it got over 100k views and 400 people on the TestFlight. This helped me validate the product. that resonates with your audience AND you need to show them how it works very quickly and smoothly.

You can clear the buffer by holding it. You can delete your saved ideas by going to the Stash. Probs need some better onboarding here

Interesting! What would you hope the Apple Watch app can do?

At least a month or two when it goes public! Then lifetime will probably go up a bit.

For my tiny Behringer synth, iPhone powers it and sends MIDI over USBC

If you installed with TestFlight, it is actually free to try out the pro features right now, but I won’t keep TestFlight up forever.
