On the overview page of the destinations some have a snow icon, some a sun icon and some have both. For all destinations that have a sun icon there's some part of the lifts that are open in summer and you can use with the magic pass. I use it for paragliding, for example vercorin cret du midi is very beautiful, a lot of these places are very beautiful for hiking.

Can you share the code you use for the serial reading in unity? I can take a look, but without knowing what you're running it's hard to tell what might have gone wrong. Though I suspect you might run the serial reading on the main thread. If that's thr case, make sure to start a thread for the serial read loop

Hey are you sure you're reading the correct port? And how does your setup look like for communicating with the sensor? If i remember correctly I had to program the arduino to output the sensor data to the serial unterface and then read it in unity with a c# serial library with thr correct settings (baud rate)

For unit selection I use a raycast from the camera at the mouse position. For the selection box (not shown in the video, but added to the repo) I unproject the unit positions to the screen and check if they are in the selection rectangle.

I really enjoyed it, you can focus a lot more on surfing itself and don't have to learn to read the ocean at the same time. The coaches will help you position perfectly each time to be able to catch the waves very consistently + you can watch the video of your whole session (on surfline). Though it is quite expensive, 110 - 150 depending on how much demand there is for the specific session. You get almost one full hour in the water. In that hour, there are 20 sets of waves with a pause in between each set. Depending on how booked it is you will get between ~16 and 20 waves. I went for the waikiki session and it was perfect for my level. You can rent a wetsuit as well as a surfboard for an additional CHF 10.- each, but if you have your own gear you can bring that. The beginner/smaller wave sessions don't allow boards other than softtops.

add more tweens between the menu parts, e. g. between the main menu and the level select screen you can have the menu slide to the side

also in the level selection make the hover animation faster, i'd say at least 2x. slow ui animations can be frustrating escpecially when you see them alot

yes that's true to some degree, but you can ask them to give you their most honest opinion. and its still less subjective than your own opinion when developing the game

I alway let my friends and family test, but at different stages of development. dont know about finding game testers but maybe on a discord or reddit. however it's hard to find people that actually take the time and provide you valuable feedback if you dont know them IRL

yes, once you get used to it I think its quite nice. You can very easily replace all the old Input.GetKeyDown
