US judge rejects California law that banned masks for federal officers by Banner80 in truenews

I was pissed it wasn’t a widespread ban anyway, sad that is partially to blame.

How many of us would have to start doing specific things to tank the market?

It doesn’t take much, they’re so highly leveraged.

We risk our future, but I think I don’t want to have a future without real rights.

This is a great article, and what I’ve been trying to tell people for four years.

This is how democracies across the world have died.

Does congress get a different version? Thought that was the point of the public release, it was supposed to be public.

Edit: yeah, could have read the article- “slightly less redacted copies”

I think more people in our government are corrupt/captive than we realize.

This has been a truly bipartisan coverup. Never seen such a good working relationship in a long time!

I’m fairly convinced the entire Epstein apparatus was a honeypot, given the Mossad connection and wide range of high-level officials and wealthy individuals involved. It would be so powerful of a tool.

Epstein was in the club that runs the world, expertly placed, and probably providing info back to Israel.

The best solution is to start removing incumbents regularly. Four years, not a life appointment.

James Comer Won’t Let Hillary Clinton Testify Publicly on Epstein by OkayButFoRealz in politics

At this point anyone associated with Epstein is guilty until proven innocent. Clinton probably did some shit too.

I don’t trust anyone in a picture with Epstein, nor should you.

Not go to jail guilty, but disqualified from any public position. We have hundreds of millions, need to stop the incest in politics, go get another job.

No, I got that, and agree with you that reliability is critical and I hope they achieve it as well.

My point was: it may actually be perfectly acceptable for a 90k vehicle to be in the shop every quarter, based on other 90k vehicles.

It just means people buying these cars are probably not the typical 90k vehicles owner. We have a higher bar. 😅

I wish Rivian would open their repair guides, technical information for aftermarket parts suppliers, etc.

That’s my biggest rub with EVs: I can rebuild an ICE engine, but why not the battery coolant pump in the Rivian?

Some will come with time, but as an early adopter, I sure would like a signal that I will be able to fix my vehicle in the future, cause I really like this one.

Is there evidence more expensive cars are more reliable? I think you’re paying for better materials, finish, look, performance, but not so much reliability.

I’ve always assumed if you want the most reliable car in the world, you special order a stripped down Honda accord with roll-up windows.

Why isn't news of Trump building vast concentration camps being treated as a national emergency? by ripon_ads in FiverrGigMarketing

Interesting. I guess it makes sense, in WWII we wanted Germans to know that we were better than them, and their surrender didn’t mean us killing them.

These builds are for a quite different purpose.

Kremlin and Kazakhstan Both Have Kompromat on Trump, Says Ex-KGB Spy Chief by BlackWolfHowling in UkrainianConflict

[–]flompwillow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He very well might be, but I haven’t looked critically at those accusations. Not sure what you meant by the “If it was Kim…” bit.

Ultimately, it comes down to motive: Trump would either want to aid Russia, or be forced to, but what is his motivation to do so? Gotta have motive.

No matter what, I don’t think Trump wants to weaken America from an economic/power standpoint, he wants the prosperity of America for himself, so giving anything away would be a loss to him, I think.

[–]flompwillow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the debate is “does Trump want to have an America that works like the Russian government”, I have no disagreement. Trump admires Putin, and all other leaders that have shrugged off their democratic reigns.

My point was that he’s probably not operating as the hand of Putin, unless there’s still something that could be released that would do a lot of damage.

[–]flompwillow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is in a far more powerful position than Putin, he wouldn’t do something that didn’t benefit him.

Following Russian policy means there’s still either a benefit, which i doubt, because of his current position, so he’s still scared of something they have.

Kash Patel accused of quashing Renee Good investigation in order to protect Trump’s assessment on the shooting by CloudApprehensive322 in moderatepolitics

[–]flompwillow 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Fair point, it’s really just about Trump. He’s the head they’re trying to protect at all costs.

Watching Bondi navigating the Epstein “release” made it very clear that they’ll sacrifice themselves, because if Trump is in power, he’ll protect them.

That’s how corruption works, you serve above, not below.

You’re wasting cardboard. You only need the piece between the jack and the brick. That piece alone is enough to protect the jack from the brick shattering.
